Boom Battle Bar Wandsworth — Restaurant in London

We went out 16th Mar 2024, 20pm to enjoy some games. When we walked in, got our drinks, and patiently waited, our time to come for a pink ponk game, when something unexpected happened!

Since I was feeling really cold, because there was no heating on, I walked and closed the door. 2 security officers and manager 10 min later, walk towards me coming into my personal space, raising their voices, and giving very poor customer service! The officers got between our game and shouted on me unreasonable, asking me, "Who are you? " , " You are not aloud to close this door. We are working place is open now, " he said.

And that I must ask him if I want to close the door. Then I asked nicely. Could you please close the door, because it is very cold ? He said "no" in a very aggressive way and asked us to live.

My partner at the time came in front of me since I had asthma trouble breeding and very poor health. He tried to ask the security officer to calm down and stop shouting at me. Ofcourse officer asked him " Who he was to come between his covesation with me and the young boy " manager " said if u don't do what security said whichis to live the venue, you two must live the venue " Does it make sense to anyone because doesn't for me.

However, after 20 minutes of they wasting our time on a game we paid for, we did continue. During this time, we dealt with dirty judgemental looks, showing disrespectful chat between them, looking at as making faces. I am deeply disappointed as their behaviour in such a fun place.

I would like to see them dismissed as a result of the "pointless " stress they cause us. I will not recommend this place to anyone until that happens. I will keep bad reviews until change is done! If the owner has trouble finding these people responsible for our horrible night, we are happy to recognise them. I forgot to mention. After our game finished, they kicked as rudely, even when we had our drinks still full, and on the way out, the security officer said, " And don't come back." This is so not professional!

Poor hygiene! Glass was so old and dirty! The bar was so sticky!

They need more female security officers! I haven't seen any competent member of staff there. The girl on the computer was kind to be fare she was the only one!

On Sunday i went to Boom Battle Bar in wandsworth for the Easter weekend. It was my second time visiting this venue, and my family members 1st time. We absolutely loved the place, the only reason for the 4 stars is that it was a hot day and there was no aircon. It was cooler outside then it was inside. When I asked a member of staff if the aircon was on, I was told there basically isn't any. We booked 2 table tennis tables, and 2 pool tables. After playing table tennis we were really hot and sweaty.. We did enjoy ourselves nonetheless.

Our highlight was the member of staff who was just super sweet and friendly (they all were to be fair), but Anika (hope I spelt that right) made some cocktails for us which were lush... she made sure we liked them, was asking if we wanted anything else and most of all just really tried to make sure we were good, without doing too much.. really bubbly personality.. which then made me ask for her name. So I hope she gets to hear that we appreciated it.

This spot is local to us and will definitely be a place I'll be coming to a lot more..

Please get some Aircon though guys. Amazing...

A real nice vibe here. The staff are amazing. Upon entry, we were welcomed with high spirits and laughter - they were really enthusiastic and had great banter.

There is a selection of great entertainment options, axe throwing, virtual darts, table tennis, crazy golf, basketball arcade, shuffle board, and a nice bar and seating area.

The axe throwing is great fun, helped that our host was really funny and entertaining, and made the game more fun by adding in bonus rounds, etc. Would really recommend this for competitive groups and for families. Although getting the hang of it can be quite tricky and take a few turns so don't be afraid to try new things 😉.

Crazy golf was really fun too. It was small but just right! The design was great and made it different from your normal crazy golf venues across London. Definitely recommend checking this out. Again, fun for any type of group or event.

Drinks were reasonably priced, and the bar was very easily accessible and is within direct view upon entry. Had a good night out here, and I spent a good...
