Experience-0/10 Customer service-0/10 Food-3/10 very average

I called the restaurant and asked for a particular item that I really wanted to have. I made sure that they know i was travelling an hour to get there to eat only ghat specific item and keep a table ready. Thru even asked me to come to a specific time which i agreed and arrived on time as i was really hungry. I got settled down by the waiter which even recognised me from the call.i placed the order and the waiter came to tell me how they are out of that dish, which i was very surprised cause i called just an hour back to confirm it’s availability. I was very angry with the same and asked him to recheck with the management to which another waiter came and started making up some weird stories which we both knew were lies and playing the victim in the story when i told him i was going to leave a review. I asked to talk to the manager and I literally was able to see a guy who was clearly managing the team and then the team lied again saying the manager isn’t there😂like what the hell.

Fast forward i wanted to leave as all other dishes i could have near my house and cheaper but the waiter asked me to stay and order and i can have anything on house which honestly i knew was a lie cause they made me pay for the whole thing 😃😃😃.not even any discount for inconvenience or any other gesture. It was nog the money that bothered me it’s how they treated me. Food was also very average and took so long to arrive and of course they made errors with that as well. Honestly wasn’t even surprised.

So guys if you are planning to go in a big group or planning to celebrate i would advise not to as staff is not trained properly to handle situations and management lacks managing skills. They will ruin your day, you will travel burn your own money, feel bad about the staff cause it’s not their direct mistake and then come home feeling horrible.

I would be better off if i had rather given that money to a homeless person and slept empty stomach then to spend 10 pounds travelling there with having to deal with an unpleasant situation and then paying for something that was so...

Update 22 Feb 2024: I had ordered Chilli Chicken and it was smelly and very bad in taste which is surprising given that I had it earlier and it was one of their best items. I would think twice before visiting again.

Decent Indian Restaurant in Greenwich, visited it last night for dinner take-away after reading great reviews on Google. Portion size is good, price is decent, not very cheap or very expensive.....staff was polite and helpful. I had ordered Lamb Biryani, Chillie Chicken and Gajrela (Gajar Halwa)......Chillie chicken was the best among them.....had the perfect indo chinese desi taste which is a rarity outside India. Gajrela was also good. But the lamb biryani was not that great, I felt it was too dry less spicy for my taste. But overall, its a very good Indian Restaurant that I will recommend others. And I will love to come back to try the other items...

One of the most pathetic customer service, we ordered through deliveroo which said scheduled for delivery and so we decided to cancel it but they immediately accepted and set the delivery time for an hour later which was fine but cut to an hour later no update , multiple riders reached the restaurant but said it was closed ,however in the app its still showing order is being prepared , when tried to reach the restaurant no response They didn't have the minimum courtesy to cancel the order on their own or atleast inform the customer about the same and then cancel it if they are unable to fulfill it . Wasted more than an hour letting us think the order will get delivered. Poor customer service didn't even want to give that 1 star . For future need learn to communicate since you guys are in...

Anyone that follows or reads my reviews knows I'm an avid foodie. Kesar did not disappoint. I ordered lamb madras and chicken tikka masala and 3 poppadoms. The lamb madras was perfectly seasoned and mega delicious with a kick to it which I like. The chicken tikka was lovely and juicy and does not taste as sweet as some of the local tikka masalas in Greenwich. On top of that whilst waiting the lovely waitress gave me and another gentleman a can of Fanta for no reason. For this I will definitely be coming back, delicious food and great hospitality. You've won me over

Having tried punjabi food at over 50 places in the UK, Kesar comes in my top 3 now. The taste is highly authentic and very close to what you get in North India. We ordered Karahi chicken (on our server’s request(Abhishek)- who was wonderful btw), naan/tandori roti and chole bhature and absolutely LOVED everything. It’s a restaurant I’d come to even if I live far far away because of the taste. Not to mention- their portion size is very generous relatively. Must try if you are wanting to try authentic Pubjabi/north Indian cuisine.
