Dear KFC Customer Care, I am writing for the first time ever to make a formal complaint about a member of staff at KFC. This is not something I do lightly. My family and I are regular customers — we eat at KFC two to three times a week — and over the past 25 years, despite occasionally encountering minor issues with food, I have never once felt compelled to complain about staff behavior. Unfortunately, what happened during my most recent visit left me feeling humiliated, upset, and extremely concerned about the way your team handled the situation. On this occasion, I visited with my wife and our two young children, KFC is a favorite treat for them, and they are very particular about what they will eat. I ordered a 10-piece chicken bucket and specifically requested up to five thigh pieces, with the remaining pieces being a mix. The cashier confirmed this request, so I trusted it would be fulfilled. When we started eating, I quickly noticed an issue: there were four thigh pieces, one side breast, and five very small wing pieces, most of which had been placed at the bottom of the bucket. Since we only discovered this after eating three pieces, I returned to the counter with the two untouched wing pieces to explain the problem. At this point, the situation became extremely upsetting. The staff member, Gayathri, repeatedly insisted that KFC never serves more than two wing pieces in a bucket and implied that I was mistaken — essentially suggesting that I was making a false claim. I tried to calmly explain that there were five wings, and I even offered to show her the bones from the three wings my children had already eaten. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, she kept leaving me standing there without explanation, repeatedly returning only to tell me the same thing: that what I was saying was wrong. Feeling increasingly frustrated and disrespected, I asked to speak with a manager. Reza, the manager, came over and immediately escalated the situation by saying he could "check the CCTV" — again implying that I was lying. This was deeply insulting and incredibly embarrassing, especially in front of other customers. I told him I welcomed a CCTV check and also asked him to come to the table to see the evidence himself. Eventually, he agreed to replace the two pieces. When he came to our table, I showed him the bones from the three other wings my children had eaten. Only then did he acknowledge that I was correct and apologize. While I appreciated the apology, I explained that it did not undo the fact that both he and Gayathri had essentially called me a liar, argued with me throughout my meal, and ruined what should have been a special family outing. Instead of addressing this properly, Reza began to walk away. At that moment, I sighed and quietly said to my wife how idiotic the whole situation had been. Unfortunately, Reza overheard and returned to our table in a highly aggressive manner, demanding to know if I had called him an idiot. His tone and body language were intimidating — so much so that I felt momentarily threatened, as if the situation might turn physical. I felt I had to stand my ground and replied yes I did. At that point, he suddenly declared, “Right, that’s it, you’re banned!” — loudly, in front of my wife, children, and other customers, including several police officers who were eating — and then stormed off.
This entire incident was incredibly humiliating for me and deeply upsetting for my family. My autistic child was visibly distressed by the confrontation, and my wife and I were left shocked that a manager could behave this way toward a loyal customer. I strongly urge you to: Review the CCTV footage, which will show: The incorrect order being packed. How poorly Gayathri handled my request at...
Read moreOpen until 2am but don't be fooled... We went at 1.30 am and what a terrible mistake it was...
Ordered a Mega Box; requested a leg piece chicken with flat wings and a Fanta.
We paid.
Upon collecting, the lady said I have no leg piece...Well why take my money? Surely this should have been mentioned earlier.
Anyway, so I said that a side breast would do.
A minute later "sorry no Fanta"... Now I was raging, I know they had delivery issues few months ago but come on, no Fanta? I don't even like Fanta, who does? My weird friend who was in my car that's who. So we said Pepsi will do.
Now, NO salt for the chips..and this is KFC they don't salt their chips the way some do so salt sachest were needed!!
The wings - DRY!!! I love KFC wings but nuh uh, not these, they must've been cooked like 8 hours ago because these were far from fresh.
The side breast - it was ok. Actually I'm lying, it wasn't ok, but it was edible (bit hard), but then again im not a side breast fan to begin with.
The gravy - this was good, not as good as usual but it did the job (sort of).
The pepsi - well done KFC you got something right (even though we wanted Fanta initially lol).
I've been here before it's alright. Just don't go after midnight on weekdays, it seems like they stop making fresh chicken!!!
Overall - I'll sadly be back...Drive Thru and open late...Aaah they've...
Read moreI feel silly writing a review for a fast food place but I was just disgusted by the service and some of the food. We ordered at drive thru, paid, went to collect the food and asked where our drink was. The girl said we didn’t order a drink, we told her we did and it was paid for and she can ask the lady who took the payment to confirm. She instead continued to refuse to give us our drink and said we didn’t order one and hadn’t paid for it. We asked for a manager and another lady came to the window and continued to say the same thing, that we hadn’t ordered a drink so we weren’t getting one. Both ladies attitudes were horrendous and the worst I’ve experienced from any fast food place. A couple of minutes later they realise they had given us the wrong order, got the correct order with the drink and zero apology. The wraps were fine but the mini fillets were not fresh (only noticed this after we drove off). We have both been feeling sick since then and just have an odd feeling it must have been...
