I like KFC. We eat it quite a lot as a family, but not from this place. However, when eating here today (25/08/2022) the normal chicken pieces and the wings were burnt. Maybe old chicken reheated? I don't know, I'm not an expert, and never had anything like this from any other KFC before. The chicken here were missing the usual golden brown colour, instead they were black/grey/deep dark brown. They even tasted burned. The staff thinks this was fine. I ordered the party bucket, which comes with 14 pieces of chicken, plenty of wings and other bits. All the chicken pieces were burned and so were the wings. See photos.

The service was also terrible. For a party of 5 people, we received 2 sachets of ketchup and when I went to ask for more, we got two more. They didn't want to give tissues or cups for the bottle of drink that came with the meal. We had to keep insisting and asking repeatedly to get anything. They refused the clean the table which had broken chicken pieces from a previous customer.

We weren't the only people with problems. While we were there, fights/heated arguments broke out twice between delivery drivers and the KFC staff. Lots of curse words both ways. We saw a father and son who were about to dine in too, and they had to fight to get their table cleaned too. The father was a lot louder and more persistent than I, and eventually got service. However, the KFC staff came to "wipe" the table three times for the father and son until most of the dirt was off.

Waste of £27.99. Go to a different KFC place, they aren't all bad. This place is really, really bad.

Good afternoon, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the service my friend and I received today at your Clapham junction branch. Unfortunately, the experience was completely unacceptable and has left us both very disappointed. After placing our orders on the screen and selecting takeaway, we were asked again by a staff member whether our order was eat-in or takeaway, to which we confirmed takeaway. Once we collected our food, we went into the customer area to quickly check our orders before leaving. We had not even sat down when a member of staff, Xavier (as indicated by his name tag), approached us in a very rude and aggressive manner. He began shouting that if we intended to eat in, we should have said so, insisting that we were wasting paper bags and continuing to raise his voice unnecessarily. At no point were we eating in, we were simply checking our bags to ensure everything was correct. The way he spoke to us was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, our order was missing basic items such as napkins, which only added to the poor experience. I feel strongly that no paying customer should be spoken to in such a way, and it is concerning that your staff feel it is acceptable to treat customers like this. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this branch. I hope you will take this matter seriously and address the behaviour of this staff member to ensure no other customers are made to feel the way...

There seems to be a lot of staff always in that branch but they are always so slow to serve customers and everyone seems to be walking around doing but not actually doing anything. I walked in and there was already a guy waiting to be served while the manager was just floating and not really doing anything. Or nothing that couldn't wait until after the customers have been served. Then when it was time for me to get served I wanted a 6 piece bucket and I was grateful because I asked 4 thighs & 2 legs. I was actually going to ask for 6 thighs but I didn't think he would give it to me so I mixed it up and he said yes straight away that's no problem. I do love this branch because they always have a large amount of chicken ready to go or in the back warmer.

My order was prepared very quickly and I got my big bag and I always like to try 2 chips before I walk out the door but they were warm not hot and knowing that I have to wait for a bus to then travel home with this food I didn't want cold chips. So I explained to the manager they're warm, he looked at me a bit funny but gladly took the bag away and ask the guy at the back to give me fresh chips. When I got them they were hot and I headed home. I love the fact that KFC as a company have changed the coleslaw. It's now more edible and has Flavour compared to the mayo gloopy substitute all branches...
