KFC Northolt - Mandeville Road — Restaurant in London

Disappointed, disheartened and dismayed. Being a lover of fried chicken, I was looking forward to trying my local KFC. Whilst I do understand that franchises vary in quality, I wasn't expecting the food to be this poor.

I ordered chicken pieces, wings, fillets, a wrap, chips and corn. I will now elaborate on my experiences with each.

The chips. These were seasoned well, but undercooked and stale. They were dry, and not pleasurable to eat. Getting chips wrong is quite remarkable.

The chicken pieces. Boring, bland and bleak. Despite the coating appearing to be seasoned with lots of black pepper granules, this was an illusion. I really couldn't taste any flavour. When you think Colonel Saunders had an 11 herb original recipe, I am struggling to taste one. Furthermore the batter was not binded well to the chicken, resulting in it just coming off the meat. Chicken was also overcooked, with each piece being dry.

The wings. Similar to the pieces, but just in a crunchier coating. Lack of flavour, dry and stale.

The fillets. These had the most flavouring, and the batter wasn't easily peeling off, but again were dry.

The wrap. Imagine the fillet served in a tortilla with salad.

The corn. The star of the show, by far the best food from KFC.

All in all this was tremendously disappointing. When you take the cost into account as well, it becomes clear that this is a place that...

Ordered 14 price party bucket and told I can only have 2 breast pieces! Was told by Arvind that 1 bag of chicken which has 18 pieces only has 2 breast and the rest are all legs! He said he’ll show me the bag to prove it…. so I said fine…. show me!!! Called his bluff!!! What a lier!!! Kids were hungry and had no choice to place the order! Also when other people were ordering food they were told it will take longer that it would to make and prepare the food to dissuade them to order it in the first place!!! That’s what I call customer service! Final point please NEVER get the stripes!!! Are made of pure string and rubber!!! They were absolutely disgusting and all went straight...

The portions of fries were cold and tiny - more like a kids meal. Although i gave the driver the code I'd been sent, he said it was wrong and wouldn't hand the food over . This is despite showing him that the order number on my phone matched the one on the receipt on the food bag. The free pop corn chicken as promised because of what we'd spent wasnt delivered and KFC don't answer the phone when I rang to complain. Avoid and go to other stores if you want better food...
