KFC South Kensington — Restaurant in London

Worst experience in a fast food restaurant. Signs in the restaurant ask us not to order from the counter but from the kiosk. First observation: These kiosks did not provide receipt. Not a big problem. The staff erased our orders from their screen, then forgot about it. When we asked where our food was after waiting for a while, they did not only ask for our order numbers but also for the content of the order. This felt very strange as we had never experienced this at any other fast food chain. When serving us, several items were sold out/not available. The manager took the liberty to replace some of our items without giving us any other option. When asked for a refund of the missing items, the manager refused to do so and "offered" us to choose something else, knowing full well that the equivalents were cheaper. We didn't want something else, we wanted what we paid for. In the end, we had to settle for something that we did not want on top of having to pay for something that was not available. It is fine to run out of items. What was not normal was that there were no warnings and that we were forced to accept the choices that were imposed on us. In the end, we paid for something that we never had, and no receipt to show for it. A very unpleasant experience with KFC. The lack of respect and consideration for customers is astounding. Rating : -10 Very disappoint with my visit. I guess I will never forget the experience . First of all took 30 mints to deliver us the food. Food was not upto the mark. Chicken popcorn was all deep fried so no taste . Chicken burger was okay but chicken was not cooked properly. So this was about food . Now read below.

Another thing, they don't have any security. anyone can enter and steal your stuff I guess and they are not even bothered to help us in any way. We were sitting in eat in area downstairs and some random homeless girl came . I am not even sure that she was homeless. She came asking for money and started touching food bags etc and kept irritating us for around 10 mints and no body was there to help us and ask her to leave . In that moment she just took our phone from the table and we dint even realise when that happened. I am sure stealing is not stores responsibility but she just dint steal she was actually disturbing us from quit some time and I was expecting some help from store people but yeah nothing from them . There was not a single guy from store downstairs.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star. I had a horrible experience here. First, I had to wait for 25-30 mins to get the order. Then, when I finally got it and sat in the eat in area downstairs, some homeless woman came inside and started asking money from everybody. She came to our table and kept pestering us for food and money, while we were eating. All of a sudden she started touching the food and I asked her to back off and in the middle of all of it she took our iPhone from the table and we did not even know when and how she managed to do it. We realized it 5 mins after she left. I understand it was my mistake for not being too cautious. But, the point is there is no security at this KFC, like other outlets. Anyone can get in and steal your things, if you are not too cautious. The guys here did not even help us with looking at the CCTV footage even after I filed a police complaint. It's really horrible to expect that you are in restaurant and anyone can get in and steal. I would advise everyone to avoid this KFC.
