I recently visited a local steakhouse and had an exceptional experience that I must share. While my initial order of steak arrived overcooked, the outstanding customer service turned my disappointment into delight.

(Especially as I had been there the previous weekend and it was the old menu) I had recommend this restaurant as a place to take family I had over from America as Iāve always loved the concept of cooking your own steak and the prices were great. But now they cooked the steak to order and everything was so expensive. The menu was very limited and seemed like they had tried to make it more fancy but it was anything but. The majority of steaks we ordered arrived cold. The menu almost twice the price which put me off ordering. The sides choices again were limited. I couldnāt see that there was even a simple side salad. Safe to say wonāt be coming back ! And Which is such a shame as I have been coming here for years, shown it to many friends and family who often come and it would often be the spot we chose to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries etc. So you have lost quite a few loyal customers You have taken away what made you special and unique as a restaurant and become a generic boring steak restaurant. On a more positive note the service was good and staff were friendly. But maybe this was they were so eager to have our business on the āgrand reopeningā day because the restaurant seemed pretty empty compared to when Iāve visited previously itās...

The restaurant was not busy but they had a large amount staff working. I entered the restaurant and all the servers just kinda looked at me and walked away or turned their backs. There was a guy in a suit that had to send someone over to seat me. They man who did seat me was doing nothing but standing there and was one of the first persons I made eye contact with. I told him I had a reservation and he said to follow him. He sat me and walked away. He came back and explained the drinks to me then left again. I had to flag him down 5 minutes later from just standing around to order a drink. He brought the drink and as I said I was ready to order he left again. Five minutes, ten, minutes, fifteen minutes⦠nothing. I watched as the people who came in way after me get attendees too but my person just avoided me me like the plague. I was heart broken. I felt so minimized and all I wanted was a good Sunday dinner. I canāt even rate the food because I got up and left after not getting to order. I just left my wine on the table, grabbed something from the Tesco then went back to my hotel. Extremely disappointing. Again, my rating is on the service not the food because I didnāt get a chance...
