Couldnt select zero stars so one it is. Ordered from KFC surbiton for delivery via JustEat as usual only to be surprised that items were missing from my order (as part of meal). I ordered a 10 piece Wicked Variety Bucket only to find part of the meal (probably the part I look forward to the most) 8 hot wings and chicken fillets - missing! Drove over to kindly ask if they could provide the missing items as they were part of the meal only to be told that I had to go through JustEat which I acknowledged. To further understand where the error happened I asked what their usual process is when processing an order. The Asian man explained that once the order is accepted he and his team 'pack' the food and seal it and gets picked up by a JustEat courier. Nothing usual. He then went on and said that probably the driver took the food! I said the seal was untouched so how can that happen. He then continued to dig himself a grave by adding that the seals can be removed without breaking it (or the bag) therefore asked him to demonstrate this - the seal broke. Now it was clear the the issues lies within the team at Surbiton for now checking the orders before they go out at which point he dismissed my comment. At this point I was fuming that he (I believe he was the manager) would blame JustEat for his teams INCOMPETENCE and lack of care. He then reminded me that I had to go through JustEat and they will get back to me in 24 hours. What about the dinner I had ordered for the family? The fact I ended driving there to try and resolve the issue was ridiculous. Had he just simply replaced the missing items, this honest review would not have been added. I can only assume it is because they have a scoring system and delivery targets which mean as a walk in - we are the least important customer.
