East India Restaurant, Surbiton — Restaurant in London

Went there on the way home from work for a take away only six people in the eating there man meals had to wait forty minutes for my takeaway ordered a beer and popudom whilst I was waiting told me it would take ten minutes for my order so when it got to half hour I said to the waiter how long will it be to which he told me another ten minutes if I new it was going to be that long I would not have ordered anything and five minutes before my meal came I had to remind him that I haven't had my popudom yet so he said sorry and brought it out the same time as my takeaway really he then said we're sorry for your wait and we have put a extra popudom in as away for my inconvenience 😂😂😂😂and when I got my meal home it was soggy and not the best I would hate to no how long you would have to wait if it was busy only six people in there eating there mains so take a tent with you...

First deliveroo failed to deliver my order, no liability offered from restaurant. When second-order eventually arrived after spending 20 minutes on the phone to the delivery driver who got lost my "vegetable korma" was in fact just sauce no chunks of vegetables but a bit of chicken thrown in! I am vegetarian! The poppadom was completely crushed and the food was cold probably due to the late delivery. Very disappointed waited almost 2 hours for a very unsatisfactory meal, will not be using again. A refund would be appreciated but because use deliveroo it seams you take no responsibility can you tell me how to...

I pop in to the East India once or twice a year with my Tolworth uni friend to talk about the good old days when we were young free and single. We are never disappointed with the exceptional fresh tasty food and the polite friendly service (Cobra and Kingfisher beer are fine choices off the drinks menu!). Sure.... there are other curry houses in Surbiton which we have tested out over the past two decades, but ultimately The East India will always be our number...
