The Italian Taste — Restaurant in London

My dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped by the warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff’s hospitality truly made me feel at home. As a Muslim with specific dietary requirements, I initially worried about my options, but the staff and the chef's thoughtful suggestions quickly put me at ease.

The penne verde pasta I ordered was a revelation—rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was satisfying, leaving me completely full yet yearning for more. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I indulged in their crème brûlée. The sheer joy of cracking through its delicate caramelized shell to reveal the luscious vanilla custard inside was an experience I'll never forget.

This is a lovely local Italian with a warm, friendly family working there and managing it. Beautifully styled restaurant. The only disappointment and negative is there are very few vegetarian options. For an Italian I would expect half of pasta options to be vegetarian as I know I get this in Italy. I think the only option is pasta arrabiata. It’s a shame they don’t offer more varieties of sauces say pomodoro with aubergine or zucchini. The classic and much loved creamy Cacio e Pepe. Linguine with truffles. Gnocchi blue cheee sauce. I hope they update their menu with more veggie options soon as it’s not reflective of how many people are not eating meat/ fish right...

This is the most wonderful restaurant and our absolute favourite in Surbiton. The team are totally delightful, kind, thoughtful and attentive - and the food is utterly delicious. From incredible crispy pizzas to exceptional homemade pasta and some lovely starters and specials, we have never had anything other than a brilliant time here. The atmosphere is always fabulous and try their secret garden out the back when the sun's shining!
