The food is standard Wimpy/KFC fair. It is tasty and well cooked (no derri-belly like I have occasionally had with KFC). The people serving you are lovely. Whilst the food will never be haute cuisine, if you are looking for a burger or fried chicken, you could do at lot worse.

Sadly, what lets it down, and the reason for giving it 3 stars instead of 4, are the people in the local community. They are often impolite or downright rude to the staff which can often make you uncomfortable whilst waiting. Well worth getting food from here as long as your thick-skinned enough to resist launching yourself at some rude moron who has treated the staff as if they had just arrived...

I recently visited Koleey Fried Chicken Shop in Wellington and had an extremely disappointing experience. First, I decided to try their seafood pizza, and it was honestly terrible. The crust was soggy, the toppings were bland, and the seafood tasted old – not fresh at all. To make matters worse, the customer service was horrendous. The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, and it took forever to even get someone to take my order. When I asked about the pizza, they just shrugged and didn’t seem to care. Definitely not going back. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Please try village fish and chips better...

Had heard about the spicy chips they have here and wanted to give it a go. Tried it recently and it didn't disappoint. Thin cut chips with spicy powder was good and went well with mayo and ketchup. They also give chilly sauce if you require. The things I didn't like included the fact that the staff had not worn any PPE and the store had two plastic sheets erected in front of the cash counter only which I think it's not quite enough during these times.
