Mango Lounge — Restaurant in London

Worst Indian we have ever eaten and the management did nothing to put our terrible experience right.

We ordered at 8pm it said it would be 45 minutes, after an hour when it didn't come we called and they said 'it's on its way' it will be 10 minutes. Another half hour passed we called again, they said it would be 10 minutes, still didn't come.

Over two hours later when it actually did turn up the order was wrong, didn't get the free bottle of wine which was their promotion when you spend over a certain amount, they missed a dish and sent two of the same dish, everything tasted the same and my curry that was meant to mild - medium was so spicy I couldn't eat it and just had huge chunks of chillis in it.

I gave the restaurant quite a few chances to put this right, I own restaurants myself and can't quite get my head around why they think it's okay to argue with me on the phone and offer nothing as a way of an apology. It's just common sense and the basic etiquette to make sure the customer is happy and received good food and service, something the Manager of this place clearly doesn't understand.

Honestly there are much better Indian restaurants all over London, do not eat...

The food was delicious, but the customer service was very poor. We arrived and whilst still standing a waiter wanted to take the drink order. Another waiter seemed lost, not sure if he couldn't speak English or what. We asked for hot water (my friend drinks hot water without anything else in it) and he refused - I found it ridicolous. We waited to order for 20 minutes and over 1 hour for our food to arrive. In 1 hour we had no poppadoms and no one even came to ask us if we wanted more. Me and my partner having been going to this curry house ever since it has opened - we use to be regular eaters at there previous restaurant but lost contact when the business changed owners, which we was dissapointed about as always loved the dishes.
