Kulcha Express® Ilford — Restaurant in London

I took food from them and i found one large stone in my food . I was too had also where i eat my food was broken . After that i found that it was a stone and also a large stone that may be broke my teeth if i am not aware from that . So i am so upset with their service today . I was a bad experience all i can say that. If i confront them no one can take responsibility i had proper picture . They never even guilty for that in case if this stone stuck in my throat than who is responsible for that so now i am never come to this place again . And i never recommend this i need my money back which i spend on this food or to close their food Restaurant permanently from now onward please. When we confront their mistake to them than they rudely behave with us and they said oh we have another booking i think you should leave now because you might be finished your food now which is not expected from them their staff does not have a sense that how to decent talk with customers they do not want to show their mistake in front of the other customers that why they said just go now in a rude manner so never expect this from them . They defame me at the front of their others customer’s i never forget them.

However , I am not raised this issue for my refund . But your staff was too rude they don't have manners. One of the girl from your staff was speak too rudely with me . She think that I am uneducated or something I think that is why she talked to me English and also showed too much attitude after this matter.i really don't know why before this she talked very well in Punjabi suddenly she changed her attitude after this matter she showed that she is the owner. Why are you hiring these kind of people who don't have manners. I am upset too much I am always visiting your restaurant because of your Indian food and because of the real taste of Asian food . But now I had a very bad experience in your restaurant on this day which is very special for all of us as a new year I took my fiancé with me and your staff defamed me in front of your other customers as well as in front of my fiancé I don't know why ? And they never regretted and realised their mistake as well . This is not my first time to visit your place but I never expected that this would happen today . Such a bad day . I request you to speak to your staff and give them some manners first after that they serve anybody. They never ever apologise for their mistake . Which is really bad . I don't come at all even though I never recommend this place to others . I was so happy when I visited but I am not happy when I leave your place. The worst customer service we have ever experienced. I booked a table for my mother in laws birthday. We had a cake which I handed to Simran as soon as we got there and asked her to keep it refrigerated and explained the candles were in the bag. She took it and said "no problem". We had our meal, quite a few starters which I must admit were delicious. The mains not so much. But we weren't fussed as we were already quite full from the starters. After mains we asked for the cake to be bought out. Simran brings the bag with the cake in and dumps it on our table. Every other restaurant takes the cake out the box/bag, puts the candle on top, lights it and then brings it out. No plates or spoons or knives were brought out for the cake. When we asked for some, Simran then advises us they don't allow food from outside which is fine. Had she have told us when we handed the cake to her in the beginning we wouldn't have stayed there for our dinner. The service throughout the evening was disgusting, alot of huffing and puffing. We had my 22 month old son with us and Simran thought it was ok to keep placing hot food down in front of him. All in all the whole experience was terrible, birthday ruined. I think it goes without saying we will NEVER be going back there again and will also advice friends and family not to. And for anyone else hoping to celebrate with a cake, steer clear as they clearly don't want any celebrations to take place in their cafe/restaurant! We actually heard about this place on an Indian channel advert. I'll also be contacting them to let them know of our experience!! We asked for the managers contact details which were also refused!

I've become quite the regular at Kulcha Express, drawn in by their consistently flavorful and authentic Indian dishes. The Chilly Paneer is a standout, perfectly spiced and a dish I find myself returning for. The parathas are another highlight, always crispy and generously stuffed, offering a comforting taste of home with each bite.
