Is that a joke? Paid £11.50 for a dry sausage and sad looking fries, not even a piece of lettuce. Smoked Pork & Potato Soup was not bad, just very salty. Does not look romanian and also was £7 which is absolutely unacceptable. If I paid £6 for this meal, I would not complain, but spent £18.50 and just can not wrap my head around it. Reviews did not lie, I thought, how bad can it be?.. Avoid, do not make the same mistake as we did. Pretty sure all these 5 star reviews are from friends and family, not from genuine customers. But the 1 star reviews are, so heres another one.

This restaurant is a ripped off. Prices are expensive for the poor quality of food you get. Frozen pizza in the supermarket are better than the pizza served in this restaurant. Meat was tough. Polenta was cold and horrible. Waitress was poor in communication. And don't forget to check your itemised bill for any wrong items that was charged despite the empty restaurant. Made a mistake of trying this restaurant without verifying the alarming negative feedbacks online.

I have ordered some food and I literally didn’t expect. I pay £22 for a plate of grilled meat, the quantity was too small for the money and everything dry and cold. The soup as you can see was with a mosquito inside. I called the restaurant, maybe they can send another one or a refund but they say is not possible. Please avoid. Poor quality for the money.

My experience was very bad at La masă. The music was very loud and I had to tell them twice to do something about this problem. Also the table was covered with a dirty and oily paper face , when I asked for a bottle of wine the served us with some sticky glasses that smelled very bad . Mostly of the important food from menu they didn't had . For example they didn't had soups, dessert, pizza. What kind of restaurant is this? You have a dirty place , the staff didn't bothered to bring us quick the drinks and you can't serve the most important part from the menu. A guy from the grill part ( i think the owner) said it's sunday night. When I arrived there with my friends the restaurant was almost empty with two customers inside , so .. I think they just didn't care . Shame on La masă. I will never go there again. I'm glad because stopped the order in time because I can't spend my money on incompetence and...

Ordered through deliveroo, just a soup and lamb chops , and received only a soup???? When I called the restaurant I insisted to speak with the manager , and he told me to go and collect it myself? Obviously you don't understand the whole concept of "deliveroo" and take away? ORRR to order a drink so they can send it with a driver ? So you are asking me to pay £8 for a can of soda, that's plus fees , which soda is worth £0.70??? Not to mention the soup is worth £5 and the lamb chops £16.... Unbelievable. This place has been very disappointing on my last visit. The first time I went here was over a year ago and the food and atmosphere were good. Now, the food’s quality has decreased. But the service and the atmosphere was absolutely horrible. Very loud music so we couldn’t enjoy our meal, we had to ask for it to be turned down and nothing. The waitress almost took the first course away while we were still eating because she didn’t have room for the second course. And the tables were all dirty. Very bad experience and will be looking for a different Romanian restaurant, definitely...
