LahmaCino (Holloway) — Restaurant in London

Stopped by this place today after riding past one morning on my motorbike at 6am only to see them making fresh dough for the gosleme. I rode past today and had to try it and let me tell you, I think it’s the best Turkish food I’ve had in London for a while. I had literally the best fresh crispy lahmacun I’ve ever had, an absolutely out of this world Pide with chicken, lamb, sučuk and cheese - freshly baked on the spot, and a Gosleme with spinach and peynir made whilst I waited. The wonderful owner also gave me a free rice pudding desert! If you are ever in search of a wonderfully low-key relaxed place to eat, where the food is super fresh fresh and the service is delightful, you MUST come give this place a go. You won’t regret a second of your decision! I didn’t and I’ll be back again very very soon. 10/10...

Ordered a feta and spinach gozleme and six lahmacuns . No feta in my gozleme, over £7 for some flat bread with a bit of spinach in. Missing items from £35 order. Partner called to ask where the missing items are. Extremely rude woman on the phone was quick to blame the delivery driver for stealing them! Then told my partner if he wants the items to collect it. He refused and said he wants the missing items delivered before having the phone hung up on him. So rude!

Update: you only have to see this restaurant’s aggressive responses to any bad reviews to see that the customer is not right in their opinion. No responsibility taken, instead calling customers ‘pitiful...

A quiet to busy gem with comfort in every detail. I came here on a solo date after a difficult day, hoping for a bit of comfort and LahmaCino gave me more than I expected. The lahmacun was incredible: thin, crisp, fresh from the oven and full of flavour. It tasted like something made with real care.

But what truly stayed with me was the atmosphere. The staff were warm and quietly attentive not overbearing, just present in a way that made the space feel safe and attentive to your needs and wants. There’s something homely about the way they move through the place, taking care of things while letting you just be.
