Magnificent - after a poor start, for which I was prepared to deduct a ⭐ from my review. My initial cup of tea was a huge disappointment, being prepared by dashing hot (but not boiling) water into a mug containing a teabag and dash of milk. As any true tea lover knows, this is a recipe for a disgusting slop of lukewarm brown water, but I have to take some portion of the blame - I should have specified I wanted it with lemon. Heigh ho. I soon restored the ⭐ because my full English breakfast was excellent, and the crowning glory was the presentation of my tinned tomatoes in a separate cup. This allowed me to hold them in reserve until I had made room on my plate, and their juice didn't waste itself on drowning the other ingredients. Instead, I was able to indulge myself in one of my favourite taste/texture combinations, by pouring them on to crisply fried bread - another benefit of their presentation. All in all, an almost perfect start to the week

I came here yesterday as I had to come nearby to get my breaks changed on my work van. I thought I’d have a sit down with a breakfast while I wait for my van. I was recommended this place by a colleague of mine that lives nearby, after phoning him. The place was very welcoming! I was greeted by the gentleman at the tills as soon as I walked in… before even knowing where the menu was! There was plenty seats for a sit down, and also has an outdoor seating which is perfect for the hot and sunny days! The food came out quick, and it was amazing too. I ordered the Halal breakfast (not many places do that on their menu). I was able to tell that some of the customers there where regulars or locals, as they seemed to know one another. I was a strange face to them, but they instantly made me feel at home by engaging me into their conversations too. What a lovely vibe it was!

Nestled at the end of a winding road, this café is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Stepping inside, you're instantly transported back in time by its charmingly low ceilings, while quirky decorations hanging about lend an air of effortless cool to the space. The sandwiches, crafted with care, are a delightful treat for the taste buds, each bite bursting with flavor. It's evident that the landlady, who oversees every aspect of this establishment, has poured her heart and soul into crafting a space that feels like a warm embrace. From the smallest details to the overall ambiance, there's a palpable sense of love and dedication that permeates the atmosphere. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in and thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent in this cozy haven.
