AVOID AVOID Absolutely appalling service from start to finish! We rang prior to coming as we was a big group the man on the phone said we was welcome and could cater for us. when we arrived their was a woman stood on the stair way who worked there she told us no we couldn't come. The man behind the counter and the woman had a conversation and she reluctantly seated us! Service if you can call it that was poor and extremely slow. They was not welcoming at all and we was stood over our entire meal! The kebabs we ordered we was told came with salad. When in actual fact the lady gave us two small Bowls of salad we had to help ourselves too. That was amongst 15 of us so no where near enough!!! The children's portions were larger than the adults. None of the food came out together and our last kids meal was almost 10 minutes later than the last set of food that had came out! Everything was an effort for the lady from getting us sauce to us ordering drinks! Then when paying one person from the group wanted to pay their half on card. We told the lady the amount we wanted to pay 3 times anyway with that she took it upon herself to use our contactless!! Because of the atmosphere we just wanted to leave. The following morning we checked the online banking and the lady had taken the wrong amount of money. We rang the restaurant to which the lady laughed at us and told us to come and get it if we really was that bothered. We explained that we lived 2 hours away and that wasn't fees able! She just laughed and then hung up on us! I explained to the lady it was fraud as we didn't give her permission to use it!! If you want a warm, polite, honest atmosphere I would avoid her at all cost. Exceptional Dining Experience at Grinlandia!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grinlandia, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting ambiance, with a stylish yet cozy decor that makes you feel right at home.

The highlight of our evening was the impeccable service provided by Paulina, our waiter. Paulina was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had the best experience possible. She made excellent recommendations from the menu, including some dishes we might not have tried otherwise, and each one was a culinary delight. Her friendly demeanor and professional approach added a personal touch to the evening, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.

The food at Grinlandia was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the chefs' creativity shone through in every bite. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was top-notch.

Maybe I was unlucky or I’ve got @&%#! written all over my face - I didn’t feel welcome in this place and found the bearded chef to be really rude despite my warm and friendly behaviour.. he’s the one with the beard in the photo with the dog. I felt like I was being judged when I walked in and I politely asked about a dish, only to get a nasty attitude in response.

My starter and main course came at the same time and were barely luke warm. The meat was overcooked - I’ve eaten out in a lot of varied places and am quite well known in the area. I also cook a lot of various cuisines at home myself. This was very poor quality and an unenjoyable experience.

What was worse is that the waitresses, although polite, were not able to understand my English properly.

Except for Mr. Beardy.. the staff were really nice, including the old man who owns the place. It’s just the bearded guy who has a problem and a moody attitude. I don’t think he knows what customer service means.

I wasted my money here and felt really bad. The funniest thing is that I’ve tasted far better street food in Hounslow for much less.
