Suda Coffee Pencil is an absolute gem tucked away in Camden. Whether youâre near Camden or Euston, itâs worth a stopânot just for the excellent coffee, but for the warm, community-focused vibe that sets it apart.
The food and drinks here are top-tier. The coffee is some of the best Iâve had in London, and the homemade treatsâlike the Basque cheesecake and matcha browniesâare seriously delicious. The Korean lunch boxes are flavorful and satisfying if youâre needing a quick bite.
This place is special with its creative twist: they recycle used coffee grounds into actual pencils and showcase work from local artists. The rotating art on the walls, combined with plenty of seating both inside and out, gives the space a relaxed, welcoming energy.
A lot of the charm comes from the peopleâKate, the owner, is incredibly warm and seems to know every regular by name. The whole team creates a cozy, friendly atmosphere that keeps you coming back.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great coffee, great food, and a genuinely inviting place...
Read moreâ Suda is a nice place.
Very small, so unless you are lucky, you might not be able to sit with your friend group.
â Big up to the lady who manages it, she is a hard worker. The coffee is very good and I believe everything is fresh. I like the concept of the coffee shop. The music in there is Lofi style, very relaxed. It is also a pretty quiet cafe, so can be very nice if you are there to sketch, draw, think, etc. Lots of vegetarian options. There are toilets and wifi is functional.
đŤ I will happily change my rating to 5 stars when: Plugs are added The lady starts letting us pay after we have finished our coffee if we are sat down (Not going to run off, I promise. The issue with charging when customer is sat down before they have even taken a sip is that it can be a bit bothersome if they are repeat ordering as I did.) Please let customers know that pets are welcome : I am a bit scared of dogs and having one very near me with a boiling coffee mug was a bit stressful. (This can be considered a positive though if...
Read moreMy family LOVES this place. We love the coffee, the teas, the treats, the lunch boxes and Kate! My husband is the avid, serious coffee drinker in the family and he's always on the lookout for good coffee and he says this is really one of the best he's tasted. I've stopped drinking a lot of coffee ever since I would get acidic reflux but I don't get it with Kate's coffee. I also love her hojicha (whether iced or hot!). Lunch boxes are scrumptious and of good portion for the price. Lastly, we love having a chat with Kate who is serious about giving quality products and service but also seriously down to earth, warm and friendly. She remembers her customers and you can just feel that she cares about each person that enters her shop. This is our go-to place especially when we're having a stressful day. It's just so comforting....
