Every time I visit the UK, I can never find any spicy foods here. Enough with the pastys and English breakfasts already, they are good but bland and lack creative spices. I've been to Dishoom and asked for spicy, "Indian spicy", as my Indian friend told me to say, and it was still not spicy enough to an American level. I found this little gem of a restaurant, Mama's, while staying the night at a hotel before a flight. I ordered a ton of food, enough that they had to switch me from a 2 person table to a booth, and ordered a little bit of everything. Never had Nepalese food before, only way to describe it would be if Indians and the Chinese got along at the border and decided to have a Thanksgiving dinner. Best of both worlds in one food. Let me tell you that not only was every single dish FLAVORFUL, but it was actually respectfully spicy that I'm finally satisfied. I ordered random stuff off the menu, noodles (smokey, wok fried flavor), chili chicken (it's sweet and spicy), crunchy spicy appetizer that I have no idea what it's called (Indians eat it too, they call it bhel purri, it's a street food), lamb curry (great flavor) and garlic naan (freshly made). I recommend this place to those who are sick of eating bland foods in the UK. I ordered a feast for myself and I have 0 shame, I'll just go to the gym for a few days. No regrets, worth it.

We had a great time at this Nepali restaurant. The parking right outside made it easy to get in. The food was delicious and had real Nepali flavors, all for a good price. The staff were nice, and the service was excellent. We especially recommend the lamb with bone curry; it was very tasty. Overall, it's a wonderful place for a nice meal would definitely recommend!

To whom ever it my concern,

I am beyond disgusted with the service you provided me yesterday and am now going to make a point to making everyone know how awful your service is.

I came at 8.20pm and you did not take my starter order. When you did it it is was 40 minutes later. Then you cleared my plates but did not take my main order till 15 minutes later. You did not serve me my main until 10.20pm and When we finished the eating we had to ask twice for the bill after which we had to walk up to to the service station for the card machine.

Your waiter was rude and arrogant and you had the music on so loud that it Made it impossible to enjoy the meal. Or hear each other. Which was the only reason why I came to your venue.

I am now going to share my experience to everyone I know and make a point of exposing how awful your service is.

Might I add that you did the same on my birthday a week back and my dad got annoyed but still paid the bill.

I shall note my experience on every food site now regarding my experience with you.

Your service is...

Thursday October 26th, 2024 8pm The service we received was so good we’ll be going back every time my sisters visits from Dubai and we’ll definitely recommend going there.

Parking: right outside and free at the time of our visit.

It wasn’t busy in-house at the time but there was a steady stream of uber orders going out the door. We were so warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered 3 dishes and they gave us the option to dull it down fearing it would be too spicy: We kept it spicy! We also fancied Chiya which was not on their menu. They went out of their way to get it sorted for us. The prices were very reasonable and the food was outstanding. It was as great as my grandmothers’ home cooking. This was high quality home cooked food very friendly service. We didn’t stop talking about how good it was for a couple of days. It really was the best restaurant experience the three of us have had in...
