The shakes whilst a bit overpriced, were really good.

The service however was a bit off. The guy behind the counter gave off massive “i would rather be anywhere else” energy, and just seemed utterly full to the brim with passive aggressiveness.

At one point I assumed my order was ready and said don't worry mate i wont need a bag (there was no one else in the shop). The response was a rude “its not yours” whilst looking super irritated and providing no context. Weird approach. Im not expecting the red carpet to be rolled out here, but at least make some effort to be welcoming.

Good service costs nothing, as does eye contact and a generally polite and welcoming attitude.

If I were the owner, I would be horrified if my staff had this unapproachable demeanour. Prob wont be back, and worth the owner having a quick word with the staff member.

Its a shame, as with decent service the rating would be much higher, and in a cost of living crisis any business should be fighting tooth and nail to...

I have previously greatly enjoyed visits here but had not visited for some time. After another family member suggested the idea of going this evening I was excited to order my favourite strawberry milkshake. To my great disappointment I immediately noticed when tasting my shake that they have now made the decision to cut costs and maximise profits by using cheap nasty syrup in their shakes as opposed to the real fruit they had used previously. If I wanted this standard of product I would just go to McDonald’s not pay £8.95 for it!! I really don’t mind paying premium prices for premium products. However if you are going to continue to charge premium prices whilst keeping or increasing prices you are going to lose loyal customers like myself. It’s a great shame really as I did use to enjoy their shakes but won’t be returning unless they start using real fruit in their fruit...
