“Visited recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The Coca-Cola tasted strange – not the usual McDonald’s goodness. Tasted like a 5-year-old was mixing drinks unattended at a family gathering, Also, got approached by a couple of crackheads asking for coins in the drive through, which was unexpected.made me almost spill my lemony coke.
Edit: I revisited. I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory due to a major oversight in their queue management strategy. Instead of allowing the drive-thru queue to naturally progress, the staff directed cars to park and wait for their orders to clear the drive-thru lane. This might have seemed like a good idea initially, but it resulted in an even more chaotic and congested situation.
By asking customers to park and wait, the already limited parking space was quickly filled with cars, blocking not only the parking spots but also the main access lanes of the car park. This created a bottleneck that made it nearly impossible for other vehicles to navigate through the area. The congestion extended to the entrance and exit points of the car park, turning a simple drive-thru visit into a traffic nightmare.
The increased congestion not only led to frustration among customers but also raised significant safety concerns. The crowded car park and blocked lanes made it dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers, increasing the risk of accidents. It’s clear that this approach was not well thought out and failed to consider the practical implications for both traffic flow and customer safety.
I would strongly recommend that this McDonald’s location re-evaluate their queue management system. It might be more effective to improve the efficiency of their drive-thru service or expand the waiting area rather than redirecting cars into an already crowded car park. Until these issues are addressed, I would advise customers to be prepared for a potentially frustrating and hazardous visit.
I hope this review accurately reflects the issues you encountered and helps the McDonald’s location to improve...
Read moreI am beyond furious with McDonald's Gallows Corner! I placed my order at 5:45pm and it didn't arrive until 10PM. Yes, you read that right—FOUR HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for fast food! How is that even acceptable?!
First, I was told my food would be here by 6:05 - 6:20. Fine. Then it was pushed to 6:15 - 6:30. Okay. But it didn't stop there! The times kept shifting again and again! At that point, I knew something was wrong and started taking screenshots every time they extended it (and trust me, there were plenty of screenshots).
But here’s what really set me off—the app wouldn’t even let me cancel the order! Seriously? The message said, "the restaurant may have started preparing your order," so I had no option to back out. This is complete manipulation. How can I be held hostage by a fast food chain that can't even get a basic order out on time?
I called the restaurant over and over, but the calls didn’t go through. Every single time—‘user is busy.’ I couldn't even reach anyone to cancel! After wasting two and a half hours of my life waiting, I decided this was never going to arrive, so I went out for dinner instead. Then, out of nowhere, someone’s at my door at 10PM with a McDonald’s delivery?!
The driver did his job, no issue with him, but now because it was delivered, I’m stuck having to pay for food I didn’t even want anymore? That’s a scam if I’ve ever seen one!
I rejected the food and even tried to give it to the driver, but he left it on my porch instead. Again, no complaints about the driver, he was polite and just doing his job.
But this restaurant? This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any fast food establishment. It’s an utter disgrace. Completely unacceptable, horrendous service, and total incompetence from start to finish. I am absolutely disgusted with how McDonald’s handled this. This kind of service is a joke, and you’ve lost a customer for good....
Read moreToday, Me and my family went to go to mcdonalds because we were starving. We ordered the food and it came pretty quick. We ordered a chocolate milkshake and it tasted like expired milk with chocolate and cherries. We went to gef some sauces that you get from the pump. And this rude cleaning lady(she was short, blonde, had her hair in a ponytail) came up to us very rudely and said that “there are pots for your sauce for a reason so use it”. We were using the pots anyways so she didnt need to say and be rude about it. She should be at least sacked or fired for treating customers like this. Who knows how she treats other people. She was extremely rude and does not deserve to work here. It is a disgrace to the brand. We also were drinking a milkshake and we spilt a tiny bit on the seat but we immediately cleaned it up but then she told us in a rude way again “could you clean that up because its on my chair”. My sister had apologised but the lady did not seem to accept and continued to give us a dirty look and continued giving us these looks the rest of our time here.In addition, before we left,we went over to put the trays into bin,we were realt confused and she came over and started saying unclear and rude instructions like ‘put that in the bin’ and also ‘leave it’,then when my sister and mum placed down the trays and followed what she said, the lady shoved both of them!! UNACCEPTABLE!! I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! If any mcdonald employees are seeing this review, please check the security cameras at the condiments table and stools. You will see how she acted. Please take action immediately! Date:13/04/24 Time:...
