Dear McDonald's Management Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visits to your store as a dedicated delivery partner with Just Eat. Specifically, I am referring to the experiences associated with order numbers 73476 and 75176.
During these visits, the time taken to prepare the orders was excessively long, which turned to pack the food into a 37-minute ordeal. This delay not only disrupted my delivery schedule but also led to serious issues with the end customers. By the time the food was finally ready, it had already gone cold, resulting in customer complaints and dissatisfaction. It was clear that the food had been prepared earlier but wasn’t packed promptly, further exacerbating the problem.
When I inquired about the delay, the response I received from your staff was both unprofessional and disheartening. One of your colleagues remarked, “With only two hands, how can I manage this load?” While I understand the pressures of a busy environment, this kind of response is neither helpful nor acceptable, especially when it directly impacts the quality of service delivered to the customers.
Moreover, I have noticed a troubling pattern where delivery partners are not being attended to in a timely manner, nor are we receiving the respect and communication that is essential for us to perform our roles effectively. As couriers, we are the front face and hands of your customers, and the way we are treated directly affects the overall experience for the end customer. This recent experience has led me to raise my concerns with you because the level of service I encountered does not align with the standards I expect from McDonald’s.
I urge you to address these issues promptly to ensure that all delivery partners are treated with the respect and efficiency required to maintain the high standards McDonald’s is known for. I trust that this feedback will be taken seriously, and that steps will be taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Dedicated Delivery Partner...
Read moreWow what poor customer service went in for breakfast yesterday morning there was a small queue then people just decided to jump the queue and think its OK when my partner said hang on we have been queuing the response from the workers we're well you will all get served that's not the point the way this Mcdonalds works is absolutely ridiculous to then Lope who served us said can I help and as I started to tell her my order she rudely walked away started muttering to her supervisor. We placed our order said no ice in the drink hut still received with ice. She slammed our food on the tray we had to ask for condiments as but made us feel very uncomfortable. The customer service is shocking at this place the staff are rude and very unwelcoming but what do you expect when you have a supervisor who is treating customers in the exact same way. I work in a food establishment and no way would I treat the customers the way these 2 did it was appalling service these 2 staff members need to learn how to treat customers or get a new job as sealing with the public is definitely not there best asset not evening a smile good morning how can i help just simply next. Lope and her supervisor need re training and rememeber how to...
Read moreI just wanted to take a moment to write an honest and heartfelt review for this McDonald’s branch. Today I came to collect my order, but unfortunately the store was already closed due to some unexpected technical issues. My order had been cancelled while I was on my way. I thought there was no chance I could get my food.
But when I explained my situation to the manager, Syed, and his colleague, Dhurmil, they went above and beyond anything I expected. Despite the store being closed and everything already shut down, Syed told me not to worry – he said he would make my food fresh, and what’s more, he wouldn’t even charge me for it.
That level of kindness and humanity is so rare these days. Both Syed and Dhurmil showed true care for their customers. They could have easily turned me away, but instead, they helped me with such warmth and professionalism. I left feeling genuinely grateful. (I also worked in hospitality and I know what it means).
Thank you so much, Syed and Dhurmil, for turning what could have been a disappointing day into a reminder that there are still great people out there. McDonald’s is lucky to...
