I have visited this coffee shop since day one! Loyal to the core daily. I have even driven a staff member to collect coffee when they had a very late delivery! Firstly the 12oz latte like all coffee shops came with 2 shots standard. The 12oz was done away with and a small cup replaced! Still £3.10 then it was decided the second shot was chargeable as 1 shot is not standard apparently! So my medium latte is now £3.60… and if I want a tipple of toffee nut… 50p so my medium toffee nut latte is now £4.10… £1 more than Le Dece in Ladywell and more expensive than Starbucks for the exact same beverage, but smaller! Then the unhappy staff reviews… and the massive and constant turn around of staff.. I will tell you why this is this is because the owner sits watching their every move on the camera… to where they can not physically breathe and feel completely on edge! I ask for extra milk as I am not a fan of the throth and today I was approached in the street and asked not to help myself to milk…. Seriously I ask and they hand me the jug which I put back when they are serving the next! The accusations from the owner are insane and to corner me in the street when I was on my own is insane! What a...

I don't normally leave a bad review, I just don't go back.

The first time I came here I enjoyed a lovely (yet expensive) full English and a coffee. I had an enjoyable experience. Good quality food, slightly aloof staff.

The second time, same order, same price, different quality. Overcooked poached eggs are not acceptable for a full English over a tenner! Also your staff seemed cold, unwelcoming and looked like they wish they could be anywhere else in the world other than Middleton deli!

Third visit, I gave the benefit of the doubt, I thought you might be having an off day. Ordered a black coffee, which to be fair was lovely, and a vegetarian full English. Big mistake. Overcooked poached eggs, to the point of being hard boiled and quorn sausages for £7.95. What a rip off! That's not even the worst part of the experience, the staff, with the exception of the lovely Spanish girl, are moody, unfriendly and don't seem to be interested at all.

I don't normally slate local businesses but I feel like you won't survive as a business unless you make some drastic improvements.

I'm not sure why your standards have fallen so much since your opening but...

Really wanted to love this place but today I left feeling hungry, disappointed and quite frankly p*ssed off. This is my third visit and certainly my last.

The staff (with the exception of one lovely European lady) look like they hate their jobs and make you feel like an inconvenience. They ignored us when we walked in and ignored us again when we left saying “thank you”. Plain rude behaviour.

The veggie breakfast is £7.90 and I expected some high grade veggie sausages. My boyfriend and I specifically said to each other when reading the menu that they would never be those horrible quorn sausages. Of course, it turned up and they were those horrible quorn sausages 🤮. The eggs were basically hard boiled too.

No one asked if our food was ok even though I left half of mine, who cares though? You’ve paid already whilst ordering.

Can see this business losing all its customers and going bust soon, such a shame as it’s got so much potential! Was lovely the first time we went.

Bumped them up to 2 stars as the...

The coffee bar is based just a few minutes walking distance from Lewisham College. The first impression is that it's clean and seating is spacious, as no one wants to sit on top of each other. There's a wide choice of hot and cold food and snacks. The prices are a tad higher than normal, but the service is well worth it. The WiFi details are available on each table, which was thoughtful. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and a slice of banana cake. Both were delicious, I could have eaten the whole loaf. There are toilets and additional seating downstairs. If in the area, why not pop down? You will not be disappointed

Nice place for a coffee. Food menu would have to improve to make me a regular. Admittedly I am a spoilt ex North Londoner who still eats and drinks in North and East London. Twice I have been to buy bits to take home. Both times I felt stung, way too expensive and not great quality. No more. I feel I have given the cafe a fair try. But will have to travel further to get what I like at a fair price. Bought three cinnamon buns today which looked nothing like the ones in the window (for display only apparently). They are much smaller, one of them is tiny. £10 for them and a small sourdough bread. This is Lewisham!
