Due to a police incident on Mill Hill Broadway, access to my regular breakfast establishment was not possible. Me and my girlfriend decided to give Mill & Brew the opportunity to obtain regular custom. I will struggle to explain how miserably they failed, but I may as well give it a try.

I won't tarnish their atmosphere or establishment as a whole, I am solely concentrating on the service and food provided, their priority.

I ordered the full english. This full english was single handedly the worst experience of my young life. The "toast" was a piece of bread that most likely died during the winter of 1917. Like a battering ram on a castle's great door, penetration was a struggle. I resorted to placing my shot sized jar of beans on top, as no butter was offered or provided. The brown sauce requested was not HP, but their own concoction of tang flavoured hell.

The remainder of the breakfast was as described on the menu. Eggs, bacon and their famous sausage. The bacon was streaky and crispy. That may be their speciality but in terms of the price it was a massive disappointment. The sausage could only famous for the length, as it was the shortest stump of sausage may eyes have ever witnessed.

And finally, the egg. The egg came with 2 yokes joined together in one white. At first glance, this appeared the best part. However, after several bites, I come to realise that this was burnt entirely across the bottom. Perhaps adding some oil to the grill would be considered a calorie deficit.

I paid £11.95 for this. I am sure this is nearly double the price of some full english's deemed a pleasure. I would consider a chef or menu change before smearing more balsamic vinegar across the half cut tomato within the meal. Don't judge a book by it's cover is a motto best to describe this meal. It may appear delicate and well made on Instagram, but beyond that, it was abysmal. May taste buds may never fully recover.

I look forward to hearing back from them, as they beg for forgiveness, advising that they are willing to change.
