ShakeTastic — Restaurant in London

Despite the milkshakes themselves being incredible, the staff and customer care make this chain difficult to love. My partner and I have been big shaketastic fans for a long time and regular customers but have felt less inclined to go here due to the unwelcoming, blunt and unaccommodating staff and the fact that we don’t really feel valued as loyal customers. Often we wait 5/10 minutes before being served despite being the only ones in the store, we are told the juices are always warm because they (don’t have ice), the loyalty system doesn’t work and despite saving up points we often are waiting 15 minutes while the staff try to work out how to redeem them or tell us that we don’t have the reward that the app says we do. The atmosphere in the store is uncomfortable and we feel like we are inconveniencing them by ordering. It’s such a shame as we really love the brand and love the milkshakes but try to refrain from going there anymore as we are almost always met with a problem or just generally have a bad experience, whether that’s delivering (and our order being completely wrong) or in store (and feeling unwelcome and it taking 15 minutes to get a milkshake). I hope this company improves its customer care as it has the potential to be amazing with a better rewards system and more friendly and accommodating staff. (I’m aware the management may be the problem and not the staff themselves, a negative stressful work environment may be to blame). Would love to return to being a regular customer if this ever changes in the future as we miss the milkshakes but just cannot justify spending the amount of money we used to and receiving that sort of service...

The 2 ☆ is because of the ingredients ...as for the rest ...I would give -2 ☆ for hygiene. The cups they are about to pour your shake into is used to gather all the wrapped up ingredients in. No gloves are used. Baring in mind a box containing chocolate was on the floor. Then picked up and put on the counter opened and straight from there into the cup I am now meant to drink out of. I’ve been going to Shaketastic since I was young, and they’ve always been lovely service wise and taste wise. I’m not a milkshake person if I’m honest, but I’ve always been obsessed with the ones from here and order them occasionally as a treat.

Had a small issue with an order for the first time today, and called them up to see what could be done - they were so beyond helpful, and went out of their way to find a solution for me.
