Morley's — Restaurant in London

Morleys has grown over the years with many branches across London, but consistency is often a problem and different branches often serve different products ( such as the fries are different in each store).

The fried chicken on my recent visit was okay and the skinny fries were good, but the problem was it was served luke warm. Not cold, but certainly not hot as it should be! Sadly this is because they clean the hot cupboard hours before they close and put the chicken in the top section to keep warm, which has no heat lamps and so all the food gets cold. This is so they can get out and go home early as soon as they close, instead of cleaning at the end of service. This needs addressing as it should be hot held at the correct temperature to avoid food poisoning, not Luke warm.

My only other gripe is the lamb ribs are inconsistent. sometimes good, but often tough, full of fat ( a bit of fat is good but some of these ribs are mostly fat) and dry like eating a pair of old boots, so be warned.

Overall it's an average fast food fried chicken venue...

Saw this branch of Morleys on my way out of london yesterday and went around the one way system again to buy something. Fancied some ribs and maybe a piece of chicken wasn’t too fussed about getting chips. Purchased two combo meals and extra ribs. Specifically asked for the chicken rib piece. Wow the chicken was cooked to perfection and the chips were absolutely delicious. Couldn’t eat my ribs until I got to my destination however I was assured that the sauce was amazing by my friend in the car with me. Lamb ribs, what a revelation TOTALLY YUMMY 😋. Let me be honest food was good I had chicken wings and chips but the women that was working der had a attitude problem when you ask her how much this and that cost she don’t give right price I asked for 4 wings she said get 6 I said okay and I then I was 20p short and she goes you have to pay full amount money but I asked her before how much is 6 wings and chips first she said £3.40 then she said said different price after if the owner is reading this teach her how to be nice and smile to because it don’t cost nothing to smile and tell her when a customer asks you a question she should answer it correct...
