This place used to be ok, it's gone down on all levels. The lady serving behind the counter was very moody, and patronising, just pretending to be helpful. I ordered a roast lamb meal and the meat was dry and burned. Nowhere near the roast lamb we know in the Balkans. When ordering, I asked the lady for more meat than the bone. What I got was about 75% bone. The potatoes were soggy and tasteless. Red pepper salad was just horrible. The desert tulumbe were old and dry, not a drop of juice. And on top of everything the lady charged my roast lamb meal £14.50 instead of £12.50. Beware they like to steal your money too! I will not be back. It is going to be better to go to the Serbian restaurant across the road, The Corner Terrace. I will not be back to this...
Read moreWent in to try the Irish breakfast. Friendly, pretty girls serving. Meal came out very quickly, probably too quickly. Actually took 10mins longer to serve up the tea and toast. Big portions but all of it looked and tasted like it had just been re-heated and was barely cooked properly in the first place. Sausages were pale sickly looking things with a brown line on one side where they had touched the grill. By the look of the bacon fat it is hard to believe they got to know the grill either. Eggs were rubbery, tomato and mushrooms were raw. I was very hungry so I ate most of it, don't want to think about how I'll be feeling later. Shame their are so few options for an all day...
Read more0/5 - Worst food experience ever! Went there a week ago for two bacon rolls and the owner gave a piece of my bacon from my plate to a customer's dog outside whilst the lady was making my rolls... Did not think much of this, maybe he cooked an extra one for the dog. Then I came back a week later today with a friend to have breakfast, got served a cold plate of 'English breakfast' which had to be microwaved in front of me. I waited so long for my toast after the lady totally forgot about it that my friend finished eating his cold food and we had to go. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
