Myllett’s you’re losing it. Two / three years ago you were on point. Customer service was great, food well prepared, good value and tasty. Your toilets have never been up to standard to be fair. We have observed a steady decline in your care and delivery of services over the past months. Nowadays you be turning out food that is refried or over cooked, as if that’s acceptable to paying customers. It isn’t. Nowadays your staff think it’s okay to be huffing and puffing when the customer has to make multiple changes to their order because ‘you’ don’t have adequate stock. Nowadays even your management have the audacity to accuse customers of sharing their AA discount code with others - as a reason for it not working - and then it works but you’ve already said what should never have been said. Throwing bottles to the bin behind the bar is also not acceptable. It’s startling for some and the excessive noise is excruciating for others. I would suggest your staff undertake some training in their communication skills, inclusivity and food prep. Please see image of food - salad was great -chicken and garlic bread not fit for purpose. We actually drove elsewhere and ate again. Pointless, discussing this with your team the attitude from some senior staff is not at all positive. We decided last night was our last night with you and we shan’t be returning to what used to be a firm favourite of ours.

First time for a Sunday carvery with a family group. Even though it was busy the waiters quickly cleared a table for us. You go to the bar to order your food and note that there is an additional charge for the pigs in blankets if you want to add them to your carvery. You are able to order other meals if you want. It is good to also order and pay for drinks at the same time due to how long the quese gets. You will need to take drinks back to your table before then getting your food as you carry your plate along the buffet. There was a long queue for the carvery but the portions were generous and there was the usual options of beef, turkey and pork as well as roast and mashed potato, sprouts, cauliflower cheese and red and green cabbage to name a few. The yourkshire puddings were huge. Went up for additional potatoes too. The football was on the telly so we were able to relax and never felt rushed. The kids did go to the play area but it was quite crowded and not much fun for the youngest one who was pushed. Apart from that we would be back as the food tasted great. Outside there was a seating area and plenty of free parking but make sure to enter your registration when you arrive.

Sadly after my experience today I have to downgrade my review of here went in tried in vain to find a clean table after 7 or 8 found one that wasn't stickey then waited around 35 minutes minutes for two stakes admitted one was well done but with very few customers in this seamed long then table full of glasses next to us was cleared by a customer with her 2 children but they then had to get there carvery replaced as one of the children had a fly on there food as a manager of a restaurant I find the poor standards of basic hygiene here acceptable especially when there are staff behind the bar on there phone there one a server a lady on her own on the floor trying her best to keep all the guests happy she and the kitchen porter who cleared our table where the shining light light both where friendly but fighting a loosening battle due to what i can only out down to very poor management sadly I would avoid here tbh has gone down hill pre covid sadly please see pic below of my partners plate of food peas where cold and hard and both meals had 2 onion rings not the 3 stated on the menu but will say both stakes one welldone and one medium where cooked to perfect temp

Afternoon a group of 15 of us just turned up yesterday for a john lewis reunion not knowing how many would turn up. On arrival checked out requesting an area so the noise would not offend the other customers. The lovely lady Robin was so obliging and gave us an area that was cordoned off. We then asked could we move the tables to accommodate us all to be together. Both Robin and another pleasant guy working with her allowed us to do so but we did put the area back as we found it. Staff were very efficient and the table service and bar service were both good. They were willing to do anything to cater for us with no problem what so ever😚even though we did agree on five stars we would like to point out the CARVERY was very tasty and full of flavour but was not really a hot meal as we would have liked it. (Does need to he hot to enjoy please) The second thing which I did not mention to the staff was that as the sun was shining through the window we all noticed how grubby our drinking glasses were which we supposed was a result of a dish washer. So maybe for the customers sake they do need to be checked before brought out to the bar area. Not having ago but it really is something to look into. I will finish by saying on behalf of all of us we think it is a great meeting place for large groups and families. It is the 3rd time we have had our reunions there now and intend to do so as long as you all keep up the good work and correct what we have asked for as customers. Thankyou to Robin and her team. Wish I had asked the nice black bearded guy his name now👍🏼so check this review out today and thank them both. Sorry it was so long. With thanks to the next time. Regards John Lewis retired...

stop by the Myllet Arms on the way into central London we really enjoyed our visit when we pulled into the car park we noticed and nice clean Garden area with beautiful green umbrellas so we chose to sit outside as a nice sunny day looking over the menu and downloading the app and actually ordering from the app is the most easiest thing I've ever seen. We started by ordering appetisers and they came to a table within 3 minutes the wings were absolutely out of this world. Within order some drinks and I must say say the price for a pint in this pub in London is absolutely crazy so cheap but yet tastes so crisp. The bartender today they brought my drink over as a very happy chap never seen someone working so happy could not stop smiling and to me that shows at the team here are very happy we then ordered main course and of course we had Carvery the meat today was absolutely sensational the gammon was juicy the turkey wasn't dry and the beef had a little bit of Pink in the middle. All the veg that they had prepared look fresh and tasted amazing oh my god the gravy let me tell you about the gravy it is the best gravy I've had in England. After finishing my large Carvery a glimpse that dessert counter by the host stand on my way to the facilities which by the way we're extremely clean I decided I one of the chocolate fudge cake when my dessert arrived it was huge great value for money amazing service clean pub and post covid safe what more could you possibly ask for well let me tell you this pub does an all-you-can-eat breakfast offer for £9 what a value we will be in tomorrow to experience this thank you to...

I always came here with my family when they come in town cause we love this pub does Sunday Roast the whole week. I came tonight, a bit late around 8.30pm, and we ordered some Sunday Roast. The lady who served us , Alexandra Marilena, was everything but welcoming. I ordered 2 coke, and I asked her to filled mine up a little bit, and she refused. She said that this is the standard and i should have paid for a dash of coke. I was Assistant Manager at Greene King in Central London, and if a customer asked me to put a bit more coke I always tried to make customers happy. I was shocked when she said I had to pay. Then when I go to take my Sunday Roast, from bad to worse. The guy behind the Sunday Rost stand, who I imagined was some sort of Manager cause he has a shirt, turned to me very aggressive. I thought I had to take my plate and when I went to take a plate , in front of other customers behind us, shouted to me saying that I can’t take my plate, they give us the plate and now the plate I touched can’t be used anymore, so he slammed the plate and left. I was sooo shocked cause I didn’t remember they would have gave us the plate. Then , we waited few minutes, a young guy came to give us the Turkey, but there was no smile , nothing. the whole service was the worse I ever had in this pub. All of them they looked stress and not happy to do what they were doing. I’m a Store Manager so I work with customers too, so that’s why I’m shocked about the services me and my family received. I hope this can help the staff to trying to be more welcomed and smiling cause people don’t come back if the service first...
