Read moreAfter reading countless positive reviews, my party of four decided to give Royal Nawab a try. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in recent memory.
Our evening started with an excessive 1 hr and 20 min wait to be seated for our table of four. Despite the lengthy wait, we remained optimistic and excited to try the food that had garnered so much praise. The buffet setup was impressive with a wide variety of dishes on display, which initially raised our expectations. However, once we began eating, the reality hit hard and the food was overwhelmingly disappointing. Most dishes were served cold, the flavours were bland and uninspiring, and much of what we tried was simply inedible. The only redeeming items were the pasta dishes, which were decent.
When the bill arrived, I was genuinely shocked by the total. The prices were completely unjustified given the poor quality of food we received. For the same amount, we could have dined at numerous other restaurants and received a significantly better meal with proper service and hot, flavourful food.
To make matters worse, the majority of our group experienced stomach problems for several days following the meal, which raises serious concerns about food quality and hygiene standards. I'm genuinely puzzled by the positive reviews this establishment has received. Either our experience was an extreme anomaly, or there's a significant disconnect between the hype and reality - the positive reviews could have possibly been paid for (many companies charge to generate fake reviews for businesses). Based on our experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Royal Nawab to anyone, nor will we be returning. Save your money and choose one of the many other excellent dining options available - you'll thank...
Read moreIf you want to greet your family or friends with viraity of food and sweets don't go anywhere, just bring them to Royal Nawab Restaurant in Perivale. I think the best time to go is just after 18.00hr
First of all the restaurant is not too much busy. Second the food is freshly cooked. Third you are center of attention for the staff and getting the best service. It's best to go there with a clear plan for the evening and foods. What was my plan? I planned to escape all every day food especially salad and starters.
I started my plate from Chapli kebab and fraid fish. For a £15 extra you can get a freshly squeezed Jag of clamintain juice. We ordered that.
The second round I got lumb chops and tawa fish. I'll tell you about the quality and taste of the food later.
The third time I chose Nehari and lumb namakin. It was a night for my taste buds to work on extreme mode.
The fourth time I chose Haleem and chicken levers. What I forgot to tell you that I try to have my last four dishes with nan bread and roti.
And finally for the fifth time I chose kheer and gajer ka halwa. The best taste and texture in desserts couldn't been found elsewhere other than these 2
With all this my evening come to an end and I am sure you want to know how to describe the taste of the dishes. I'll try to describe it in a number from 1 to 5
