Borders a section of the river Brent which can get a bit smelly in summer when the water is low and is now and again polluted by a*holes dumping oil in it. Notable for an ancient tiny clapperboard church hidden on a footpath leading north to Perivale, famous locally for its music recitals. Very handy for Pitshanger Lane, a time-capsule of a London high street with lots of local shops and hardly any chains, probably because it is so far from any tube stop. There is plenty of benches to sit on along the walk ways and there is plenty of football pitches for the children to play on.
