Nando's Balham — Restaurant in London

Worst nandos I have ever been to. Beginning with the service, no one came to us at the door upon entry. Instead we waited around and were led to find a table for ourselves and sit down. The food came, and some of it was missing and I had to wait for it to come whilst the rest of my food went cold. Despite ordering through the barcode on the table, I had to get up to request for glasses as they had not come to our table. It gets worse, despite it being well over half an hour before the closing of the store, as we were eating, the staff began sweeping the floor and lifting the tables, not something I would expect whilst eating my food. The person sweeping was so indulged in her conversations over the phone, that we could hear her swearing and complaining to mates on the phone, which didnt compliment the fact that there were kids around. We could even hear the waiter and Manager arguing between each other whilst they rushed customers who were already eating. The staff looked like they were forced to be there as whenever we asked them to come over to our table, their facial expressions showed that they felt this was a chore.

If you have enough time to serve customers and take their money for their meals, the bare minimum you can do is ensure that they have a smooth meal without being rushed, without watching cleaning being done, and without having to overhear loud ghetto conversations from staff who are employed in customer facing roles.

Having been a customer for many years at Nandos, I am disappointed to have had such a poor experience at this branch. Never again. From looking at other reviews, it seems as though only the positive ones are...

Last evening, our family of six ventured to Nando's for the first time, and it was an absolute delight. Accompanied by my nephew and niece, the experience was memorable from start to finish.

Upon arrival, the unique ordering system caught our attention - a simple scan of the QR code. Your order is placed, leaving you to eagerly anticipate the arrival of your meal. It's worth noting that you'll need to collect utensils and napkins from the central area, adding a touch of interactive charm to the dining experience.

Once our food arrived, we were all thoroughly impressed. Opting for a meal for two, the portions were generous and the flavors were exquisite. However, the true highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dessert. A decadent chocolate soft cake, served warm and accompanied by velvety ice cream, left us all craving for more.

The service was exemplary - swift, efficient, and delivered with genuine warmth. Each staff member wore a smile, enhancing the overall atmosphere of hospitality.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Nando's for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience with family and friends. Located conveniently close to our Airbnb, I suggest either a leisurely stroll or a short ride on the underground, just a block or two away.

Within minutes of getting our seat we noticed the young servers having a little too much banter between themselves, one had his trousers sagging! I thought no more of it. The ordering I thought was still through the online App, fine, it gave us a order number I expected to have my wine by 10 mins max, it didn't happen, we were waiting 30 mins go by. I ask about our wine and food, To the only staff member who acted like she cared buzzing around all diners helping them out, and had to pick up slack from the younger staff. The wine came, a medium glass instead of a small for the wait, food shouldn't be much longer we were told. Food order was lost on the system by 40 mins. We were ready to leave ! This lady server apologises and çonvined us to stay and eat won't be long she promised we were getting hangry at this point my company didn't really eat (chicken looked boiled, no chard bits then was slapped some sauce). We asked for a refund of their food, lady agreed "yeah of course I will send it back to u at the end of my shift". She never did send it back. Staff Unprofessional, so preoccupied with Delivery orders which kept flying out. One server had big headphones on while serving diners . will never go again , My first and last time . Totally...
