I met my two friends here. First time visiting the Barking branch (parked in Vicarage Fields). We ordered at the till (I mention this for a reason). I ordered the chicken butterfly with garlic bread and salad which arrived at my table a few minutes later. My chicken must have been on a serious diet before it got served up on a plate as the chicken breast had shrunk considerably in size (probably about the size of the palm of my hand and I don't have big hands!). Chicken breast was very dry so had to smother it with Nandos sauce to help it go down my throat and garlic bread was chewy and hard on the edges but at least I enjoyed the company! 🤣
After finishing our meal and just chatting. The waitress came over and asked us if everything had been ok to which we replied, yes thank you. She then asked us if we ordered online. We told her no we ordered at the till. She said ok it's good you enjoyed your meal, you enjoyed yes?. With that she left. We carried on in conversation and five minutes later, the same waitress showed up again and asked us exactly the same question. Now I'm thinking, does this woman have short term memory loss? I then said to her, we told you we ordered at the till, why you asking us the same question to which she replied oh you know when your order online maybe you can leave some extra money for me but its ok ladies, you enjoyed your meal that is good. It was only then I realised she was looking for a tip which was very cheeky as we hadn't seen her up until this point. I don't mind tipping but not when you're practically being...
Read moreCannot believe the service I received today at nandos barking, went with family of 8, there was another family of 8 behind us. So we were told to take a seat while a table becomes available and the family behind us was told the same. So we waited patiently for about 15 mins, this 'supervisor' called NIEL decided to sit the family who came after us on the table first, regardless of us being first and another colleague also reminded him that we were to be seated first. He ignored their seating list and basic customer service. So we confronted him off the situation and asked why he decided to seat the family who was after us instead of us, and asked to see the seating waiting list. On the waiting list we was first on list and the other family was 3rd on the list, to which he responded "no they came first and reserved the table and this isn't the list the list is in my head"!! He pointed to his big head. So yes people, barking nandos have an imaginary waiting list for seating their customers. NEIL came across very cocky and a major prick. It's basic customer service down the drain, supervisors are meant to show and demonstrate good customer service and not let customers walk out unhappy especially when there is 2 heavily pregnant woman. Disgusted by the service, never have been spoken to or treated like that in Nando's. Neil at Barking Nandos is a step ahead of everyone else. He takes customer reservations in his head! Be smart. DON'T...
Read moreBY FAR THE WORST NANODS EVER! First of, I had a really crappy day, and Nandos usually cures a bad day. Oh no no no, not today. We arrived at Nandos at 9.45. We made our Oder immediately. Our food arrived at 9.55.... how on earth can food cook so fast? I questioned it, but I trusted Nandos as I’ve never had a complaint before... First of, I ordered wings, and the person I was with ordered half chicken, chips and coleslaw. I ate her chips. The wings had the sauce fresh over it as if it was dipped in sauce and placed on my plate. I know it doesn’t usually look like this (in hindsight) but I thought nothing of it. We finished eating by 10.05. I didn’t completely Dinah my food as it didn’t taste right. Mind you I’ve had a terrible day, I didn’t want to further complicate my day. I got a take away box and took my food home and put it back into the overly before I ate it. The person I was with vomiting 15 minutes after leaving and I had constant stomach issues.
Terrible. Never again. If the area looks dirty, the food may be the same....
