Nando's Park Royal — Restaurant in London

I have been here and was served well. Today however I went in to buy the chicken wings as a quick meal before work. I requested well done chicken wings and asked if they can do them well done on both sides of the wings. The chicken wings were ready in about 3 minutes. I left. When I was on my way, I opened to check the wing, to my surprise, they were barely grilld chicken but cooked. I wasn't happy about this. Took some pictures. Got home tried to eat them, but it was not good for grilled chicken. I had to put them in the grill. I contacted the Manager, I was told to email and attach the pictures. I did this, I got an email stating that they will not proceed with my complaint if I don't send both sides of the chicken wings. (Now remember that I asked for them to be grilled both sides). The reason I knew I have half grilled wings is because one of them was not cooked either side. For 5 wings costing £6.50, the price of 2 whole chickens in store, you would expect them to be special. Anyway to cut the long story. I called to check if they received a picture of the other side of the chicken. I was put on hold and told that the managers are busy and that I should call back another day. Now this is for £6.50. I should call them again, really. Very poor customer service. Just not going there again. Principles over money.

So my second visit upon my sons wanting Nandos, I end up in this place again. Made it clear we would like the chicken grilled both sides because this seems to have stopped. I saw chicken go on the grill and within a couple of minutes it was placed on the plates to be brought to the table. I pointed this out to the cashier. He said he will ask them to cook it and I saw him go and tell the griller. The chicken arrived on our table after a long time and instead of hot, it was 2 warm chickens and almost cold chips. Only the half chicken meal arrived hot and well cooked. I told the lady that delivered it that it was not grilled at all. I picked 1 piece and showed her. This lady in glasses turned to me and said this is grilled unless you want it BLACK. I asked her why i would want the chicken black, she picked the plate and headed back to the grill. Sure enough the chicken came back black. I spent just under £100. And regret having gone there. We got salad that was old with cherry tomatoes that tasted mashy. My wife asked for salad dressing just to bare the taste. We were told that they don't do salad dressing. She use lemon and herb source and we left most of it untouched. The cashier however was a very helpful young man with what looked like dreads. Help us choose the meals....

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We had been visiting Nando’s Park Royal branch for many years. And today we (family of 8) visited there to celebrate my niece GCSE results. We have ordered around 9:15pm. And until 10:30pm no food was served on our table when we looked at the counter our order was just sitting there for the last 15 mins and no one was bothered to serve that on our table. One of us got off the table and brought that to the manager Daniel’s (on duty) attention. Finally we had been served food after an hour. It has not been even half an hour since we’d been served food and this waiter named TYRESE comes to us around 10:40 -and tell us to finish our meal quickly. when we resisted that we are still eating he said keep eating while you walk. When we ask for his manager he stated that my manager has sent me to do this. We again asked for him to bring his manager and we continued with our meal. No manager showed up. Then comes this waitress/cleaner named ANGEL who started taking Nando’s sauces bottles and plates from our table, mind it we were still not finished with the food. We again resisted and asked for manager. Then she started raising her voice and left. Again no manager showed up after that. We rushed through our meal and by 10:50 when we were leaving we requested for manager again on the counter to make an official complaint about TYRESE and ANGEL, tyrese started abusing us using B*h in front of his manager and our kids. Horrified and shocked to have experience all these in front of our kids. I hope Nando’s take this very seriously to improve their customer service and hire people who has some...

One of the staff, very hospitable and polite young man named Idrees, insisted we must come and visit Nandos restaurant @ Park Royal. We went to Nandos Park Royal last Friday. Around 935pm. First time in years , since the last time we went to Nandos's chains, was approx in 2006/7/8. One must say the food standard is very good, the foods still tasted the same. Meaning they kept a strict standard in maintaining the preparations, cooking procedure etc. Perfect grilled chicken with Nando's peri peri delicious marinates. We met the manager, Ali and Assistant Mgr, Kika. They were very hospitable and welcoming too , the moment we stepped in front of the doorstep. Despite them being very busy. Young Idrees and colleague has been looking after us with everything. Very enthusiasts young man. We asked about the missing Prego burger from the menu. Sadly it was not popular in the menu. In the past, Prego burger is one of the simplest beef burger meal but very very delicious....unfortunately not much in demand.

Overall experience of the meal in Nando's chains in Park Royal was great with good standard grilled marinated Nando's chicken, excellent hospitable and kind service by the team there. Namely the kindness and helpful of Idrees, Ali and Kika. Keep it up everyone. To Nando's- A Professional operation team you have there and of course good standard in the food preparations, leading to consistency in food qualities maintained. Well done to the kitchen staff too. They deserve a bonus or a raise (...heheheheheh) Wishing all the very best for...
