very dissapointed with the staff and management at this branch... I invited 25 people for my daughter's birthday meal. I went in to the restaurant in the day time , spoke to the manager and was told it would not be a problem but to be there 1 hour before the party arrived so as that I could save the tables.... I arrived at7pm, and was told I would have to wait 45 minutes, which was fine as I was there early anyway and party wascsupposef to start at 8pm.... 35 minutes after waiting another member of staff came to me and rudely said... the manager has gone on their break and they told me to tell you u will have to wait another hour and a half because they can't have all tables for me and turn away other customers... explained to the lady I had 25 14 year old arriving in less then 10 minutes and that I was paying for alll25 to eat and drink so what difference did it make wether the tables were given to Me or another customer .... she replied I'm just doing my job and telling you what manager has told me,I asked to see the manager and she said the manager refused to come off her break....
this is not good considering the branch has only just opened.. I think all the staff need training in customer service !
I work in an office very close to southgate nandos anduntil now picked up lunch for all the staff daily. I will not be eating here again because of this so you have now lost a large daily order from me....

Read moreMy first and last visit to this place I visited my local Nandos last night to place an order for a takeaway. The member of staff that served me looked at me as if I was speaking in Swahili, it was obvious his English was poor. Anyway, after many attempts I managed to place my order, at least I thought I had placed it. Having checked my purchase receipt I realised he had left out the large chips so I immediately went to the counter and another member of staff took my order for the chips. I explained his colleague had left out the chips and if he could please make sure the chips were cooked at the same time as my original order. They were very busy and it took about 35-40 minutes for my order to complete. When I went home I was furious as it was obvious the chips were prepared long before the main meal and they were so soggy they went straight in the bin. My other dissatisfaction were the little tubs for their sauce. They are so cheap and nasty and they are almost impossible to close properly, I actually managed to spill one all over my trousers as it slid on the table as I was trying to seal it. I would like to suggest Nandos give English classes to their staff and change the cheap and nasty tubs for their sauce. Anyway, I'm not a great fan of chicken so I won't be revisiting this place...
Read moreI ordered Nando’s delivery via Nando’s website and paid and was told I would have my lunch between 2pm-2.10pm. I was waiting outside for the driver who did not show. I checked my phone and saw it had been delivered but I did not receive it. I called Nando’s Southgate branch and spoke with a Kristina who said she is the manager. She said it’s not her problem and I would have to chase it up with deliveroo. I told her with all due respect that I did not order via deliveroo but Nando’s direct and Nando’s is responsible for my food arriving. She said ‘it’s not my problem now, we cooked the food and it’s down to the delivery company’. I said I will come and collect it but again she was not interested in keeping a customer happy. This went on for 20 minutes eventually I told her it’s not right that I paid you direct for a meal that I have not received and you are responsible for making sure I get my food. She did not care. She should not be allowed to deal with customers and how she became a manger is beyond me. Very poor customer service skills. Needs plenty of training. Kristina needs training urgent. Today I paid for food that did not arrive and was never replaced. As for the deliveroo driver, I hope you enjoyed you meal I paid. I am sure you will keep your job and steal again to...
