The Sauce - Southgate — Restaurant in London

Revolting. As soon as we had placed our order, I saw ants around the table. There’s flies everywhere and generally just an unclean atmosphere as if no one has wiped tables all day. Food came out pretty quickly…but it was obvious why: everything was stale and tasted like it was kept on a hot pass for hours and perhaps microwaved. Chicken was tough and cold in the middle, fries felt like they had come straight from freezer to plate. Everything was cold. Sauces on all meals also had a weird taste; it was clear that nothing was made fresh, but when paying over £10 per plate (or carton) of food, we definitely expected a lot more. We were also told (after paying, and chasing up with the server as our drinks never arrived) that our drinks were unavailable. We were offered an alternative which was annoying, but nonetheless we tried them. Extremely sweet and my drink also had some kind of weird insect in it. Generally just extremely poor quality food for the price and expected a lot more based on reviews but was extremely disappointed and feel cheated out of our money. Highly recommend just popping to Burger King if you’re in the area instead of wasting...

Took my son for lunch and experienced the worst customer service. The menus are unclear and the only staff member on the till was new, and did not explain or wasn't fully trained adequately, making ordering extremely confusing.

Service was slow. My son received his burger first but no drink. My order did not arrive. When queried, they told me it had been given to someone else in error and offered to make me another one.

I asked for a take away and complained about the service. When I ate my wrap at home, it wasn't what I ordered. I'd paid extra for prawns. The experience was the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. They don't seem to care and behave in a chaotic and unprofessional way.

I do not recommend this restaurant and won't be going back. Band of Burgers is 2 mins away and 1000% better...

Only gets 2 stars instead of only 1 star as The Sauce used to be really nice a few years ago. They have dropped off badly.

For my past 5 orders they have forgotten to add something in every single one and the chicken or whichever other meat I have gotten has been dry. You might as well not add any of the free extras like lettuce, American cheese etc. as they just randomly decide what they will give you and sometimes give you stuff you didn't even add. Even worse, the extras that cost money they will miss out of course and it's called 'The Sauce's yet the chicken tenders came with no sauce in this order and in my last one they put Parmesan sauce on my burger instead of comeback sauce.

One of these 3 or all 3 at the same time have occurred the last 5 times I have ordered from here so I give up...
