I have visited this Nando’s three times in the past week due to its proximity to my gym, and each visit has been increasingly regrettable.
During my first visit, my friend and I were made to wait for seating despite there being several available tables for six. The manager, a black lady with short hair, informed us that we couldn't be seated at one of these tables because they were for larger groups. However, a couple was seated at a table for six right behind us.
On my second visit, my friend received his food 25 minutes after ordering, while my order arrived 15 minutes after he had finished eating, despite us ordering simultaneously.
Today, on my third visit, I requested water glasses from a staff member (Polish/Romanian looking lady) who informed me she was going on break and instructed me to ask someone else. When I requested she inform another staff member, she dismissively told me that I should go and do it myself. To make matters worse, my chicken salad arrived with the chicken served ice-cold. Once again, my friend’s food arrived only after I had finished my meal. The manager brought our food slowly and appeared indifferent to our experience.
When I raised these concerns with the manager, she defensively fixated on irrelevant points about our seating choices, rather than addressing the real issues of poor service and cold food. Her dismissive attitude reflects a complete disregard for customer service.
Additionally, the soft drinks taste acidic and lack flavor, and the water machine in the upstairs seating area has been broken since my first visit.

Read moreI went there on a bank holiday on Monday at 3 in the afternoon and ate alone, however I was waiting for three friends who stood me up. The waitress this girl who is quite tall African lady probs 5ft10 with blond and black extensions which are long, was really rude to me. She came up to me when I finished my food and told me “next time I’m gonna need you to be honest about how many people are coming” and I said “my friends told me they were coming and didn’t show up” and she continued to argue and accused me of doing this before. Then walked off abruptly. I felt sick and wanted to cry and have a panick attack. after I just ate my food to be shouted at a member of staff simply about where I was sitting. I WAS SITTING ON TABLE ONE ITS SUCH A SMALL TABLE. IM A PAYING CUSTOMER YOUR A WAITRESS DONT GATEKEEPER TABLES!!! I’m a loyal customer and go there very regularly, her hostile attitude made me never wanna go again
I can recall this same staff member when I went with my sister and Nando’s wasn’t busy saying we need to sit at the back rather than the front. LIKE WHY ARE U BEING SO PICKY WHRN ITS EMPTY WE LITERALLY JUST WANT TO EAT OUR FOOD. PLEASE TRAIN HER BECAUSE SHES THE MOST RUDEST STAFF MEMEBER EVER ESPECIALLY BECAUSR SHE BULLIED ME WHEN IM BY MYSELF. is it my fault I went alone I felt so bad and upset that I just didn’t wanna be around anymore. I don’t go out much and me trying to go there to eat and then being accused about lying SINPLY ABOUT A TABLE IS SO HORRIBLE. I’m a mental health patient at hospital I wanted to cry.

I am a loyal customer, I come here every week, whenever I come for a meal I feel worried about whether the staff are going to be rude to me I mean it’s happened in the past. I’m so scared to even come here now.
I went to the till to order and jordi this Spanish looking man was serving me. I showed my NHS card and he squinted his eyes and he said it’s not me. I was wearing a hijab in the photo. He said “I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE LIKE YOU DO THIS THATS NOT YOU”. i work at a local hospital and do so much voluntary work for the nhs I felt extremely upset. Jordi was extremely aggressive and this comment is RACIST.
I then showed another ID card to prove that’s me as it had the same name. He then said “I don’t know why people like you in your religion take off their headscarves” he was practically shouting at me I then said it’s my descion and he was like yeh but it doesn’t make any sense He was first racist and then he’s questioning my religious clothing and being islamophobic and a mysoginist Because of people like him I’ve felt like I need to take my hijab off to assimilate into society
I used my green reward, and then he was like “THAT WILL ONLY BE SIX POUNDs” clearly annoyed
