Found this place by accident when walking around late night starving. As a noodle sensitive person, of course I ordered a noodle dish. I really like Tom Yum, so I had this Mixed Seafood Tom Yum Noodle Soup. And I also always wanted to eat hot and sour soup as well, so we had this too. The noodle soup was very tasty. The portion was generous but very easy to eat. It didn’t make me feel stuffy. The seafood in the noodles were also very generous. I really liked those king prawns and the scallops! The downside was the Tom Yum soup itself. It was a bit too watery. Not very thick and not very strong taste at all. About the hot and sour soup, it was very thick and delicious. My partner and I really liked it. Although there were signs that they accept cards, but in fact they didn’t. They only accept cash was also another downside from this place. Well, but at least the staff told us about this when we’re entering the door, so it’s ok. But of course, would be much better if they really accept card payments as it’s shown on the door and on the wall. The service was amazing. It seems like a family-run business. The girl who served us was very very friendly and seems very caring to the customers as well. Overall, I like the place and definitely will come back. 😊

We booked a table of twenty for my friends to experience authentic Cantonese style dishes for their first Chinese New Year celebrations and they did not disappoint. We had at least thirteen different dishes and the quality didn't falter throughout. I definitely recommend taking their advice placing a preorder for the seafood courses (if you wanted to try something specific like lobster or crab) and they’ll buy it in fresh from the market. I have to mention that our vegan friends were also very well catered for too. Thanks New Tastes for a memorable celebration!

Really good traditional Chinese restaurant, run by a local family for a number of years. Very good service, nice and attentive. Food is very good, consistent quality and great value for money. Doesn't look like a lot from the outside but it's definitely a local gem that I'll be coming back whenever I miss some good home cooking.

Food is really good. Big portions and great flavour. The menu is of a good proportion and the detail of each plate is well written. I found that if you drill in enough into the menu you will find traditional dishes that are well prepared and will bring you a feel of home.

Ask for the day veg as a side. It's wonderful.

The only downside is that only after you start into your meal the staff will, more often than not, come to your table and inform you that the card payment system is down and they require cash. Wether you are prepared or not for it. 3 stars due to this factor. Would be better score for...
