Hanoi Pho — Restaurant in London

I had a wowcher deal to visit this restaurant, followed the procedures of calling them up and booking a table. When arrived was told we had to give a 24hr notice (this is not stated on the voucher and was not mentioned by their member of staff on the phone), they refused to adhere to the voucher, they were rude and abrupt and had no consideration for the customer. I felt embarrassed and humiliated and will never visit this restaurant in the future. A friend of mine tried to use the same voucher a few days later and was told Hanoi Pho as a restaurant do not accept Wowcher offers anymore which is a lie because we spoke to wowcher and they were unaware of this. It shows that Hanoi Pho is only after customers money and don't really care about the service they provide. If you enjoy good service along with your food then please avoid this place at all costs, there are plenty of neighbouring vietnamese/chinese restaurants that provide great service and food.

I don't know what the food is like because I've been waiting over 2 hours for it to arrive.

I have spoken with them a few times over the last hour and each time my food will be 15 minutes as my food is out for delivery. When I said I think that was a lie I was met with rudeness.

Hopefully it will arrive soon. I ordered it at about 1915 and its now 2120... Hungry.

Update: the food arrived at 2135 and was cold. So I had to Re cook it all (not what a takeaway is about) . I called the restaurant to tell them and they said to call hungry house (now just eat) to request a refund.. So I did. But hungry house could not get hold of them.

The following day I chased it up and hungry house made contact with the manager who refused to refund the money because I could have sent the food back, but he didn't say that the day before. Luckily hungry house were switched on to how awful this service was and gave me the refund anyway... In summary, steer clear...

Very very rude staff. We came as a pair, i wanted to introduce my Western friend to the Vietnamese cuisine. Though the voucher we had stated that we needed to book 24hr in advance, the colleague was saying its ok to come later at 5pm. so we travelled a long way to get there, and the girl (later claimed to be the boss) at the reception blatantly denied that. she then at some point said "ok its our fault, just write a complaint to manager". she didnt let us call and when we insisted she asked us to go out. she was shouting very loudly claiming the right to remove us. worse, she was saying " yes we wanna play with you". initially it was basically a miscommunication issue, manager could have been contacted or at least a better remedy should be offered. very bad situation handling, not to mention other staff were eating amd there was no customer. i dont see how this restaurant will go very far in the future with this...
