O'neill's Ilford — Restaurant in London

I went there around 17:10 to order food, so before I actually Oder anything I went to the bar to ask if I could order some food and the bartender said yes. When I decided what my mom and I wanted, I went to another guy if I could made my order and he looked at me like no you can't but the first thing that came up out of him was let me see your ID first. I'm 20 and my mom is over 50 years old and politely I replied saying: "but I'm just going to order food", but anyways I showed him my Spanish ID which is my ID and identity in this country and he said I'm sorry but I can't receive that ID so no food and besides that I need the others person ID (which was my mom) I told him that she was old enough to ask for an ID. He refused to accept my ID and the reason why it was because he either didn't want to cook for for us or he was racist ! It's not like I don't speak English! The service was horrible specially because he couldn't be polite in any moment ! I would never come back to this place that treats the customers in a bad manner. For food I would not recommend it ! Thanks God whetherspoons was very close and served...

Ask for a receipt as drink prices for the same round goes higher.. staff are not friendly..pubs not the same as it used to be. I will be in touch with higher management now..as I've decided to edit this review after tonight. Being refused service because of my review by sam and Kumar with Emma having a smirk on her face. Making up stuff saying they have cctv of us causing issues.. and then when we ask to speak to management who's replied below has currently told his staff we should be refused because of my review. Kumar the manager refused.. called nags(the owner) and he was instructed to refuse service because of the review. This shows a lot about the staff working there and management. They have no grounds to refuse entry..but make up stuff. Alex is the only one who's good in there.
