Very impressive neighbourhood Caribbean restaurant and take away with a recently revamped menu.

Just had an excellent sweet potato, lentil and kale coconut curry with rice and peas, fried plantain and mango and pomegranate salad for £8!! Main plus 3 sides! Compare that to a tiny portion of one curry plus rice for £15 (!) in a local Thai place last week 🧐. Twice the food, superior quality, almost half the price.

They have a good menu - fish, vege, meat - lots of popular Caribbean classics and a Friday night Fish special, yum, with platters, lobster, fried fish, curried crab, saltfish fritters - ring in advance and order on a Friday, to save a long wait.

Super friendly place with tasty food and comfortable vibe.

Visited last night for takeaway and ordered jerk chicken and roasted and fried fish, together with almost all the sides. Food isn't too heavy (even the plaintains and festival (which were magically not oily)). The food was all fantastic- nothing fancy but something you could eat with the family and feel happy. The kids loved the jerk chicken and mac & cheese.

Really looking forward to trying more. Only suggestion is getting a "mini-counter display" set up by the front window so that passersby can see what...
