Peri Peri King Express & Kebabish — Restaurant in London

I would give it 0 star if I could but unfortunately impossible! I usually don't bother with reviews since it's pointless because the store owners or managers or whoever it's in charge wouldn't care as they are after your money than providing a good service/food to you, their customers. Ok first thing is first, they guy that's taking the orders has absolutely no experience in approaching/serving customers in a professional manner. Second of all I had to wait for an hour for my such small order (2x Mega Max Fillet Buergers) to get prepared, thirdly the burgers I ordered were absolutely inedible due to the amount of its greasiness and its awful taste, tasted nothing like chicken, in fact tastes like burnt oil and what makes it worst is the hashbrown on top that's even more oily than fillets... Although I dont like KFC anymore, I still prefer it over the burgers from these guys, however if you are after quantity over quality then feel free to have yourself ordered same thing as mine as I'm sure you will love it. I hope the store manager does something about the issue I raised and don't take my review personally, this is my honest review and nothing...

I am writing to formally raise a complaint about the absolutely unacceptable level of service I experienced this evening.

My order was placed at 18:50 and I received the first (incorrect) delivery at 19:30. Upon contacting the restaurant, I was assured that a corrected order would be delivered within 25 minutes. I provided all my contact details as requested.

By 20:45, no food had arrived. I called again, only to be told there was no driver available and the food wouldn’t leave the restaurant until 21:00, meaning I would receive it at approximately 21:30 – nearly 2 hours and 40 minutes after placing the original order.

This shows a complete lack of basic customer service and common sense. The restaurant should have acknowledged the error and arranged alternative transport such as a taxi to rectify the situation promptly. Instead, I was left waiting without any proactive updates or consideration for the inconvenience caused.

This level of service is despicable and I will be raising this issue with all delivery platforms you are partnered with.

I expect a full explanation and appropriate compensation for...

Extremely disappointing experience and poor customer service. I was initially told the food here was excellent, but my visit was far from it. I ordered a mixed kebab and was assured it would be ready within 10–15 minutes. In reality, I waited 50 minutes. When I raised this with the staff and reasonably suggested that a discount would be appropriate given the false wait time, the woman who claimed to be the manager, an Indian lady, proceeded to snatch the food bag from my hand as if to withhold my order altogether. This behaviour was not only unprofessional but also shockingly rude. They misled me about the wait time, handled my food in an unacceptable manner, and showed no regard for basic customer courtesy. Had I known, I could have easily crossed the road and had KFC in five minutes instead of wasting nearly an hour here. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect honesty, efficiency, or even the most basic level of respect as a paying customer.

The food was really terrible and under cooked. I threw most of it away....
