Hi, Pizza Go Go
I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, so I’ll keep the description of the person out of this. Today one of your employees delivered my order. As they took the items out of the bag, one of the boxes accidentally fell out, which was fine since accidents happen. When the box hit the floor it also partially opened and just a single one of the chicken wings fell out and landed the outside porch floor mat. This was also fine since I could just throw the one piece away and consider the remainder still edible. However, this employee didn’t have the common sense to maybe think of that, so they picked the piece of food up off the floor with their bare hands, put it back into the box, closed it and handed it to me. Now, I could no longer also tell which of the pieces had touched the floor and the piece that did was now touching all the others as the box was orientated upright. The employee didn’t seem to react like this was strange at all, but I believe they should get a warning that that was in fact not normal, their decision making was poor and their standards are disgusting and thoughtless for other people. The food was already possibly contaminated from the virus because they decided to touch it with their bare hands, which also wouldn’t have been okay even without the virus and they should have just allowed me to throw the single item away since it had already touched the mat where people rub their shoes regardless, so a person could also get sick from this. Made an order a couple of weeks ago on a Friday night as had friends over. The food arrived after 90 minutes and was stonecold.
I called the store just before the hour mark to enquire where the pizzas were, only to be told abruptly they had left the store. After 80 minutes, they had still not arrived. Another phone call only to be shouted at by a guy on the other end of the phone, and he hung up, his excuse was "they were busy." I tried to call back again, and he ignored the calls - probably got tired of actually helping a customer.
Food was freezing cold, we threw most of it away.
Contacted customer services with an email explaining the situation and asking for a refund - apparently they have a 24 hour turnaround time. I did not hear anything for over 10 days and I had to chase twice. I was offered store credit (which I refused, I mean why would I want that?) and the CS rep told me they needed to get store authorisation to refund.
4 days later the store has refused the refund. Apparently there are roadworks in the area which caused the delay (not them being busy?) This was a lie, as I live approx. 5 min drive from the store, and there are no roadworks in the area.
Advice to Pizza Gogo - improve your staff's customer service skills. It is clear from reviews here it has gone downhill. Sack the guy working that night, he is clearly unfit to deal with customers.

Read moreI recently ordered a Mexicana pizza from Pizza GoGo and was very disappointed with both the order and the customer service I received. The pizza arrived incorrectly — instead of beef, it had meatballs on it. I requested a refund, which was processed and approved by JustEat.
However, I then received a phone call from a staff member at the Tolworth branch who was extremely rude. He yelled at me, accused me of “bagging the money,” and insisted the order was correct while claiming Pizza GoGo doesn’t even serve meatballs as a topping. This is clearly false, as there is a pizza on the menu called “Meatball Feast.”
I found this behaviour shocking and completely unprofessional. As a paying customer, I should not be spoken to in this way — especially when I was only asking for the food I paid for.
