Went back to this particular pizza hut after a long time and was surprised by all the changes. I travelled with my disabled mum and was able to park outside the restaurant. They have 3 disabled bays and you need to put your badge on display as this the parking is run by a private provider. You need to register you car reg on a machine when you enter but when you go in and wait to be seated there aren't any visible signs to tell you. I only noticed when someone else, who came in behind me was using it. We were greeted by a member of staff and told we could sit anywhere and it was self service, we could either scan the QR code on the table or use the kiosks. They also said we could collect our plates and cutlery on the way which was only available from 1 end of the restaurant, and that's the exact end we sat on. When we sat down my disabled mum asked if they could take her order as she wasn't really good with tech but the lady replied it was all self service. Last time I came to pizza hut was years ago when the waiters used to come andntake your order so you could relax sit back and enjoy your dinning out- not here. Anyway we ended up using the kiosk to order which was pretty much straight forward. I noticed how expensive their prices had gone. I ended up getting the flatbread pizza deal which was a flatbread pizza plus drink for £9.99. The sald is free.Someone bought over our drink glasses and off we went. The salad bar used to be my favourite part 😋, not this time! Most of the pots were empty. There was no beetroot or shredded carrots. My salad bowl consisted of lettuce, cowslow potato salad nachos, sweetcorn which i had to scrap ourlt and blue cheese. My mum had to ask for salsa which they refilled. I wasn't the least impressed. The salad bar just looked dead. Anyway our food came which was standard and we were asked during the meal if everything was ok by the worker there which was nice. We ate and left. Where have the days gone when you would go in, be seated by a member of staff have your order taken so you could relax and eat. Overall it wasn't what I expected from a dine in restaurant but I suppose most companies are cutting back and going towards self service. They have defoz lost the dinning in experience and touch. Apart from the food food which was nice I dont think I would be rushing...

Not for the first time, visited our local Pizza Hut for the buffet lunch deal. Went with my 6 year old daughter and my ex (her Dad), who encouraged me to upgrade my buffet deal to include a bottomless drink and ice cream factory… which I totally didn’t need, but definitely made use of!
The buffet costs slightly more at the weekend, but I did feel like there was a much better choice of pizza compared to the last time we went, which was on a weekday. Vegetarian options weren’t great; I only saw Margarita on offer, but there was loads for the carnivorous types and I enjoyed sampling everything!
Pizzas were fresh and the buffet was kept topped up throughout, with pasta, cheesy garlic bread and garlic bread available too. The salad station was also well stocked and everything was fresh.
I reckon I ate about 10 slices of pizza, as well as a full salad bowl and two bowls of ice cream (in the end my ex didn’t actually want his) and had two full glasses of Cherry Pepsi Max, whilst my daughter had the kids meal deal (as well as enjoying a child’s of extra slices of pizza from her Dad).
If you have the ability to stuff your face like a champion, then the buffet is great value, but honestly, I didn’t need the drink or ice cream as I’m happy with tap water and it would have saved me £4.99!
However, I do enjoy the ice cream factory, even if the ice cream is pretty basic! You can’t deny it’s fun to add the toppings!
My daughter particularly enjoyed this and, unlike me, spent ages making hers look really nice!
Total Spend: £19.99 for adult buffet (upgraded) £7.99 for kids meal deal
This restaurant is situated on a small retail park, so there is plenty of parking, but you need to enter your vehicle registration on a screen on entry to ensure you don’t get a ticket and you can only stay for a maximum of 3 hours, so don’t be in there too long if you also want to visit any of the other shops.
The restaurant has step-free access, though the doors are quite heavy to open. Toilets are okay, though they could benefit from a refurb. There is an accessible toilet, but again, doors are all manual.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
We will return, but probably not for a while as my tummy needs...
Read moreSat down with the whole family there were 15 of us. The place was empty it was 1730 on a Saturday evening. The salad bar was a complete mess and half of it was empty. We asked for a couple of things to be restocked and it took 10 minutes for them to bring out ranch dressing, they weren't even busy. We had to use the QR code to order so each family ordered separately. I ended up going to the pass and picking up the starters for my family as they just sat there being ignored by the staff, someone went up to them twice as I watched talked to the chef and then walked away. The tables were all in a mess and I have no idea how long they were like it for because they didn't seem bothered about tidying the place up or preparing for their next customers. There was no large deep pan pizzas so we were told we had to have thin or stuffed crust. They wouldn't give us the stuffed crust for free as they didn't have what we actually wanted so we paid extra for something we didn't want. If they had told us on the phone 30 minutes prior when we called them that they didn't have deep pan pizzas we'd have gone elsewhere. The pizzas came up undercooked and weren't that nice at all. Where has all the sauce and flavour gone from pizza hut pizzas? In all an absolute shambles of a restaurant probably the worst pizza hut I've...
