placed my order at 18.40pm on friday the 8th of February 2019. My order arrived after 50 minuites but due to it being friday i knew it would be a busy night and i let the lateness slide.
When i bring the food into the house i noticed a strong petrol smell. I immediately ring back at 19:40pm to say my order smells of petrol. The person on the phone was very polite he apologised and said he would send out my order again.
Later when time turns to 20:30pm i decide to ring back and ask for a refund because there was no sign of food. First of all he denied talking to me earlier and then later back tracked and said 'oh are you the order for address, ill check on how long your order will be'. At this point i want a refund because i have been waiting 2 hours since my original order for food. He said the delivery wil be with me in 8 minutes to which i relpied that 'i want a refund because i have been waiting 50 minuites already after calling to get my order fixed, waiting another 8 minutes would bring the wait time up to an hour. Im not happy about that. You can even keep the food at this point i just want my money back'
He asked if i was 'sure you want a refund, and he' ll talk to his manager' He takes me off hold and says because i ordered online i have to ring customer service number, which he provided. He insisted that my order would still arrive. He also said if my order came and i still wasnt happy with it he could send me a £10 off voucher for my next order.
My original order time was 18:40pm it is now 21:17 i got off the last call at 20:40pm. No food has arrived at all and i still have the food and boxes that smell of petrol in carrier bags in my front porch because it smelled so strongly it was making us feel ill.
So overall, im writing this to say how disgusted i am at the fact my food came and smelled of petrol. I was polite and let your branch offer me a re-send but still have me waiting for that order that still hasn't not arrived in nearly 1 hour and 45 after offering a re-send. So on Monday 27th August 2018, my family and I had tried to order a pizza and we had requested that they cook the pizza for a little bit longer (as you can tell from my previous review that the cheese was barely melted). Pizza arrived and I had checked at the door in front of the delivery guy and said to him that this isn't what we had ordered as we requested the pizza be cooked more. The delivery guy had said to ring them and that THEY WILL send out another pizza. So, we had rang the branch and told them what had happened and what the delivery guy had said and was told that they would only deliver ONE pizza to make up for our first order and was told that it would be delivered in 30-40 minutes. After this time, no pizza arrived so rang the branch back and was placed on hold for 15 minutes while the employee spoke to the manager. But, it did not sound like the employee was talking to the manager. So, I had hung up the phone and rang again and again had to explain what had happened and instead of rectifying their mistakes, the employees decided it was funny and began to laugh on the phone, especially at the fact that I had explained that a pregnant AND diabetic woman was waiting for her food but they carried on laughing. I had apparently spoke with the manager but she had also began to laugh and sounded very childish. The manager claims her name is Fiona and the employees name is Sayeda, however, I do not think they gave their correct names as it seemed like a big joke and that nothing would happen. I found this to be the worst experience with Pizza Hut and has put me off completely from ordering from any branches. Read moreDON'T ORDER FROM HERE if you want your food delivered on time. Over 2 hours still no pizza . Multiple phonecalls to the shop to find out where our food was but no one picks up the phone, well they did after 2 rings and then put in down ...so rude... after 2 hours I decide I'll go down there to find out what's happening , only to find another lady complaining that she too has been waiting over 2 hours. Whilst waiting for my complaint to be heard 4 of us witnessed a pot of ben and jerrys/hagen das cream( that I'd like to add was being taken out on a delivery) being used as a ball and was thrown across the kitchen at least 6 times between 2 of the workers !!! When I bought this to the manager's attention ( well that's what she said she was) she didnt say anything, I explained that she was actually standing at the side of the serving units but she states she didn't see it !!! I mentioned the fact that I had phoned numerous times as did the previou's customer to be informed that they wasn't actually answering the phones!!!!! NO WONDER YOUR GETTING IRATE CUSTOMERS IN YOUR SHOP. Customers service skills lacking here severely and managers should be better trained in dealing with customer complaints and issues that arise as between the lot of them I'm surprised they can actually put a pizza together .
