Pizza Union Hoxton — Restaurant in London

Pizza Unions are really good and fantastic value for money. For the first time I picked them from this location and I wasn't disappointed. I even think that with lockdown the pizzas became even better! I took my favourite: Roma and tried the Capra. Both excellent, and I'll try the Capra with honey next time as I think it goes well with the goat cheese. The place was clean, people were wearing masks, with plenty of hand sanitizer, so no worries about germs or viruses. One thing that could make the experience a bit btter would be staff chatttyness as during lockdown it is always nice to have a chat with other people. I hope they'll reopen for sitting in soon as those pizzas are best when fresh from the oven (although they are still excellent...

Delicious and super cheap!! Visited by chance when taking shelter from the rain and I'm amazed!

Staff are friendly, the guy at the counter really knows his pizza and made an excellent recommendation. The Calabria pizza was tasty and spicy (really love this higher level of spice compared to other places), nicely balanced selection of toppings on a thin crispy base with juicy and spicy nduja sausages.

For dessert I had the Delizia, love it too...I probably could have most of the mascarpone replaced with more Nutella but still an awesome way to end a delicious meal and easy to recommend.

The price is amazing for the amount given, and pizza is better than most places.

I went here because of the reviews saying they do gluten free pizzas, but the second person I spoke to advised me that they cook all their pizzas in the same oven, so it wouldn’t be suitable for people with coeliac disease, who actually need to have a gluten free diet.

I really don’t understand the logic of offering gluten free pizza bases and then contaminating them so the people who really need them can’t eat them!

I have given 3 stars, because at least the second person was honest about the way they prepare the food, rather than just making me ill. Thank you for your honesty. If you can find a way to cook the gluten free bases with contaminating them then I’ll return and...
