If I could give a 0 star review I would. The woman at the bar was extremely rude and did not serve me because I had a foreign ID. She asked for my ID (i’m 20 so I wasn’t surprised at all) she then declared that I needed UK identification bc that’s what the Bromley council requests and she does not was to loose her license and my ID doesn’t say my date of birth in English. It does. It is an EU Identity Card… accepted EVERYWHERE… I can even cross borders with it but apparently not enter a pub in London. She seemed like she wanted an argument, exclaiming that I needed a drivers license, I said I haven’t got one but this is a proficient legal document to prove my age. She told me I shouldn’t argue back. We left instantly as I was not bothered with such “foreigner” nonsense. I’ve spent most my life in this country. Nice little pub, cosy with a good choice of beers and ales. Unsure about the provision of food, but there's a good selection of pub nibbles - crisps, nuts, pork scratchings, scampi flavour fried crunchy things and other savoury snacks. Large number of eateries nearby as well as lots of fast food takeaways. Live music is offered once or twice a week on Friday and/or Saturday. Unacceptable discrimination from bar staff. I was denied access for not wearing a face covering, despite telling the staff I'm exempt for medical reason and showing them my exemption badge. I was told this was company policy and could not come in. All I can say is that I'm glad I was made aware of such malpractice, unfair treatment, and complete disregard for disability and discrimination laws before I got to spend a single penny at said company.
