🚇 Northfields 🍺 £5.00 Estrella Players is located close to Lammas Park in Northfields, Ealing, West London. The nearest Tube station is Northfields on the Piccadilly Line. This pub/bar has been a regular fixture in Northfields and was converted from a shop around 20 years ago. The owners also run the Red Room Club on The Broadway in Ealing, where the Rolling Stones were regulars in the 1960s. This is a cosy and intimate one-bar pub with a comfortable, modern feel. The servery is situated at the back left and has a few stools in front for the locals to perch on. The decor features a boarded floor, mushroom-painted walls, a mix of comfy upholstered furniture, and a few TVs dotted around. At the front of the pub are a couple of tables and chairs under an awning if you fancy watching the world go by. The beer line-up is all keg and offers a selection of familiar favourites. I opted for an Estrella — my pint was excellent, and the price point was reasonable at a fiver. There’s no food available, but there are plenty of crisps and nuts if you’re peckish. I arrived just before 4 p.m. on a warm and overcast Saturday afternoon in August. On arrival, there was one local punter in attendance, but soon after, a few more joined proceedings to enjoy an afternoon tipple. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed; in no time, I felt right at home. The service was superb — I had a lovely chat with the owner and the team member on duty, who were friendly, personable, and consummate hosts. This is a brilliant little community hub that was a joy to spend time in. It’s a cosy spot with comfortable surroundings, and you’re made to feel very welcome. The beer is sensibly priced, and everyone is friendly. Loved it — most definitely worth a look-in if you’re in the area. Hahaha what a great find. The Players on Northfield's avenue, close to the Northfields underground station. Manned by a lovely lady, supplying sustainable from the keg taps. Not one for the Real Ale drinkers I am afraid. A simple no nonsense drinking den. Super friendly and does what it says on the tin. Loved it!
