Preeti patty — Restaurant in London

Little spot tucked away in a quiet corner around the canal. Nice & simple menu. All the gents working there were smiley and friendly which is very much appreciated. Top service and very fair price.

To summarise: Ordered two burgers which we enjoyed and two flavours of the wings. The wings were a little overcooked for our liking. Sweet Mango was nice which tatses like mango dipping sauce/mango chutney. The Honey Garlic was disappointing because it tasted like basic tandoori rub.

Their Grapefruit drink is delicious. I think it is a home brew.

Preeti Bhaji Burger - Medium cooked patty with lots of caramelised onion towards the centre(didn't look like a bhaji inside). Initially thought it needed more sauce but I really liked it as is.

Preeti Crispy Burger - Medium cooked burger that in itself was very tasty. I was not too fond of the crushed samosa as a topping.

I had been planning to try Preeti Patty for a while. However, while looking for another business, I came across Preeti's, which is literally a hole in the wall with the kitchen on the other side; no seating on site. Had a quick chat with Preeti and her daughter, and continued on my journey. On my return, I stopped by Preeti Patty. Ordering the Naga Shawarma Rice Box £7 and added 1 side Mini Daal Puris (5 in total) with drink £2, coming to grand total of £9...As you can see this is not a small portion and would expect to pay between £12 - £15; let's hope Preeti doesn't see this review and put the prices up. I really don't understand how this place has a 4.9 score. I ordered the Naga shawarma rice box, Naga korean wings and masala beans. All lacked the expected flavour, the rice box looks better than it tasted, the entire dish lacked adequate seasoning and 'naga' flavour punch. The wings were overcooked and flavour bare apart from the insipid naga korean sauce sparingly squirted across them. The masala beans weren't masala'd adequately. Sure it's just a 'hole in the wall' food place, sure it's cheap, fast food but it's going some to disappoint someone whose expectations are...
