I am a vegan visitor from California (in the US) staying with family close to Bromley-by-bow and wanted to find a vegan/vegetarian only place for having breakfast with my family. This place was the only one that met this criteria close to where I am staying and that opened early at 7am. It was just 20 min away (a short train ride and a nice walk along the greenway). The shop has several signs along the route which was well placed and informative. The coffee shop staff, Pranav and Johnny, provided excellent service and the food they served was delicious. It has a very artsy ambiance with a lot of local artwork as well as books for people to enjoy. My family and I ordered Mediterranean Falafel wrap, Avocado with Omega 3 toast, Banana bread and Trail-mix bar. All of them were filling and amazing. My mocha with oat milk was also well-prepared and yummy. We also had a pleasant conversation with the two staff as they shared their experience running this place and the challenges they went through. As always, I love supporting vegan and vegetarian businesses and this place is definitely deserving of that. To the staff, keep up the great work and best wishes for the future. I hope to visit again soon.

One personal suggestion or request would be to not add to a surcharge just for non dairy milk. I feel that non dairy milk is better than dairy milk for the environment so it should be at least the same cost...
Read moreI paid a visit to this wonderful cafe/restaurant after a recommendation and it was a little goldmine especially if you are vegetarian or vegan (no doubt where the ethics in the name derived from) Dax and owner Amit couldn't of greeted my companion and I more warmly! A pleasant surprise in this day and age where the customer is more likely to be an inconvenience let alone always right! The food was super delicious with a varied menu and especially delightful if you have adopted a more ethical diet as of late. Served on time and prepared to perfection I must mention the surroundings also. Furnished in a rustic and eclectic design it was a pleasure to be in and with a vibrant atmosphere where the staff knew most of the clientele by their first name the whole experience was so refreshing as to really stand out from the countless corporate and independent clones found everywhere nowadays. I would highly recommend a visit if you happen to be in East London, well worth try you won't be disappointed. I will definitely...

Every bite and sip we tried was spot-on. The coffee was rich and expertly brewed, and the all-vegan menu impressed even the non-vegans in our group—fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, and portions that leave you satisfied without feeling heavy. You can really taste the care that goes into each dish.
Service was fast yet never rushed, and the staff checked in just enough to be attentive without hovering. The space itself is bright and clean with a relaxed vibe—perfect for catching up with friends or settling in with a laptop.
