Pret A Manger — Restaurant in London

I went inside to use the toilet and have a coffee.

The staff knocked the toilet door a few times and asked if someone was inside. Never experienced anything alike before. Really bad.

As I was leaving I realised there was no soap. Extremely bad.

I asked the cleaner if they had anything to wash my hands with. The reply was no. Not untill I asked a third time I was directed to use the hand sanitiser outside.

I couldn’t find any sanitiser outside but as a turned around I realised it was by the till. As an excuse for uninvited toilet-users not paying for coffee.

Before I was even 2 meter from the till and still yet a customer in between me and the cashier. He asked what I wanted.

I understood by then that this place had really horrible customer service so I made it look as if I wasn’t going to order but said I wanted to wash my hands.

As I stood there washing my hands for twenty seconds they let all the other customers know the toilet was not working any longer. Not explaining to anyone why that was the case. I obviously felt embarrassed by the situation so I left.

I never leave reviews but I had to give feedback on the excellent service from the staff at the Finsbury Park Pret. From the minute I walked in they were attentive as I arrived with a baby in a dirty nappy I was immediately taken to the toilets and the staff helped me with all the doors and setting the table up. The service is very slow. You have to qoue on the front of the shop before entering. it is not organised. i waited 15 minutes till they took my order. Tge order served in a srange way. They forgot the drink and later they brought it and it was not tasety. They are very slow to deliver the reciept. I think the staff need to be trained how to manage custmers and they need to have priorities. Food is good but is not worth to waste...
